)Wilsonville- The state champion Wildcats graduate Oregon St QB commit Kallen Gutridge but return 5A POY [player_tooltip player_id='511864' first='Mark' last='Wiepert'] and one of the state's top receivers in [player_tooltip player_id='285874' first='Nick' last='Crowley']. If they can get consistent play out of their D, they will once again be a state title favorite. LB Will Ingle is back after earning 1st team all state honors last season.

)Silverton- You have to like the Foxes chances this year with 3-year starter [player_tooltip player_id='511861' first='Sawyer' last='Teeney'] returning to lead the group. All state athletes [player_tooltip player_id='1216435' first='Brody' last='Kuenzi'] 6-3 210 TE/OLB and Safety [player_tooltip player_id='1538661' first='Daniel' last='Kuenzi'] are both back. This combination along with incoming junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='770007' first='Logan' last='Uitto'] give Silverton a chance to make a title run.

)Mountain View- [player_tooltip player_id='754594' first='Jack' last='Foley'] is the real deal in case anyone didn't know yet. He will require a consistent double team if you want to have a chance of containing him. RB [player_tooltip player_id='1011382' first='Angel' last='Valenzuela'] had an unreal sophomore season going for 1800+ yards and 28 TDs. The Cougars lose QB Conner Crum but they will still put up points. 6-2 220 pound D lineman [player_tooltip player_id='957947' first='Garren' last='White'] will be one of the ebst in Oregon at the 5A level.

)Thurston- [player_tooltip player_id='406763' first='Noah' last='Blair'] is back. Enough said.. He had an unreal off season on the 7v7 circuit after throwing 22 TDs/4 INTs and hitting on 72% of his passes last year. If he does his thing, the Colts will be in the mix once again. He has a solid supporting cast, led by the likes of [player_tooltip player_id='1110930' first='Matthew' last='Newell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1104615' first='Tristen' last='Collins'].

)West Albany- The Bulldogs are typically one of the more competitive teams in the state. They graduate POY Brysen Kachel but return Washington St commit [player_tooltip player_id='407173' first='Austin' last='Simmons'] and one of 5A's most versatile in [player_tooltip player_id='412221' first='Tyler' last='Hart-McNally']. If he can stay healthy the sky's the limit. Lineman [player_tooltip player_id='819708' first='Tobin' last='Holloway'] and [player_tooltip player_id='819700' first='Ashton' last='Wusstig'] are others who will play a crucial role in how they finish.

)Canby- Definitely a team everyone needs to watch out for if they can put it all together. Multiple D1 athletes will line up for the Cougars with 6-5 TE/OLB [player_tooltip player_id='406754' first='Jackson' last='Doman'] and all everything 2027 standout [player_tooltip player_id='1095838' first='Jack' last='Brauckmiller'] (6-6 215) posing serious matchup problems for defenders. QB [player_tooltip player_id='754681' first='Kellen' last='Oliver'] has a stock that is rising quickly and he could thrive with the guys around him. The biggest question mark comes with the graduation of Tyler Konold who was one of the best in Oregon.

)Summit- The kids out of Central Oregon have turned into one of the most consistent programs in the state at the 5A level. That being said they lose some legit talent and will need a few of the young guys to step up. Incoming junior [player_tooltip player_id='780468' first='Dylan' last='Hughes'] should get the ball early and often and all state LB [player_tooltip player_id='1104662' first='Marco' last='Larsen'] will need to once again play lights out if the Storm wants to make a run.

)Willamette- Not even sure what to say about this. 5* D lineman Tony Cumberland has made the transfer from Desert Mountain HS in Arizona and quite literally could dominate many 5A teams by himself. You can expect a few other transfers to get in the mix as well.

)Glencoe- This will be Glencoe's first year at the 5A level as they should do well. Coach Ian Reynoso has done a good job with the program being led by a solid core group of players with size, including potential D1 lineman [player_tooltip player_id='527043' first='Brody' last='Sahlfeld']. From an offensive standpoint WR [player_tooltip player_id='406772' first='Aidan' last='Beauchamp'] 6-4 180 and TE/DE [player_tooltip player_id='1103729' first='Camden' last='Roofener'] 6-3 200 will also be in the mix.

)Churchill- The key to everything is [player_tooltip player_id='754595' first='Ceville' last='Pasi'] who will be an Offensive and Defensive POY candidate within the conference. With a few other all league athletes returning, and incoming Junior transfer [player_tooltip player_id='759688' first='Lukas' last='Babbitt'] making the move from Springfield, they should have a chance.
