Gardner Webb Extends Offers to Georgia Playmakers

<p>Gardner Webb has been active on the recruiting trail this Spring in the Peach State. Below are a few of the players that they have extended offers to over the last several days. </p>   <p>'26 QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='908945' first='Ty' last='Truelove']</strong> (Rabun County)</p>   <p>The 6'2 180 rising junior dual threat QB had an outstanding sophomore season. He accounted for 31 total TDs with 2300 yards passing and a little over 400 yards on the ground. Prep Redzone has Truelove as a Top 150 overall prospect in the State in the '26 and you can expect him to rise up those rankings this Fall. Strong arm and accurate passer that plays in a quarterback friendly system that should allow him to keep putting up big numbers. Outstanding route runner that has that twitch off the line of scrimmage to shake defenders. He gets up to top speed quick and can stretch the field vertically. Listed at 5'10 170 and has a strong frame with strong lower body. He is physical and can handle contact. He received 2 early offers from Morehouse and Tuskegee before adding the recent offer from GW. The 5'11 163 DB has good ball instincts and covers a lot of ground quick. Great vision with the ball in his hands and has that "Twitch" to avoid tacklers. Great top end speed and quickness. Sellers will be playing his senior season at powerhouse Langston Hughes. Great size that can use his arm strength to create space. Good route runner. Uses his height advantage well to go up and make grabs against smaller defenders. He can stretch the field vertically and adds YAC with his physicality.
