<p>If you have followed football for any length of time in the Treasure Coast area of Florida, you already know how much weight Fort Pierce Central carried.</p>

<p>For much of the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, the Cobras produced talent, had outstanding teams and were among the best in the state.</p>

<p>Just like many areas that grow, the region started to add schools and many of those areas that FPC had were starting to head to those newer schools.</p>

<p>What is starting to happen with this program is the talent is slowly coming back, and with head coach <strong>Mike Watkins,</strong> the year-round work that is put in is starting to elevate the product on the field.</p>

<p>Part of that improvement is to understand that this is a process, and while paying little attention to the record, the focus has to be on what talent is making an impact.</p>

<p>With several multi-sport athletes on the roster, there is a feeling that the rising senior (2025) class will lead, add talent and experience.</p>
