[player_tooltip player_id='1276980' first='Caleb' last='Frederick'] - Aycock - At 6'1 and 195 pounds, the Class of 2025 prospect showed very well at this showcase. During the 1 on 1 portion of the showcase against linebackers, Caleb ran routes and caught the football very well. I like his explosion out of cuts and speed in the open field that he showed during individuals and the agility circuit at this showcase. Caleb is a hard-working young man and I have no doubt as we get into Camp Season that he will be on the road and competing for recruiting attention and offers. Currently, Caleb has some college interest, but he just needs to remain patient and continue working. At his size, I believe he will get some opportunities coming his way sooner than later.

Curtis Clark - Mallard Creek - I have been impressed with Curtis for a long time, and I suspected that he would do well at this showcase. At 5'7 and 165 pounds, Curtis is also known for having some incredible track speed. He put that speed to work in this showcase in all aspects, showing an excellent ability to catch out of the backfield - he has played some slot receiver for the Mavericks in his career - and did really well during 1-on-1s versus linebackers. Like most skill players, in this current recruiting climate, high school players will need to continue to remain patient and impress during the camp season to stay on the radars of college programs. I have no doubts Curtis will continue to impress through this upcoming camp season.

[player_tooltip player_id='612107' first='Jayden' last='Nordtveit'] - North Iredell - Quite simply, I think Jayden is the best running back the Charlotte Metro Area really doesn't know. I saw Jayden up close last season at a showcase, and he's done nothing but improve exponentially since then. At 5'9 and 175 pounds, the Class of 2026 prospect did a great job in all three phases of the showcase. Excellent agility and footwork during both the agility circuit and position individuals are things that I have seen from Jayden before and expected. However, Jayden has shown exponential progress in his catching the football and pass routes from the backfield in the 1 on 1 portion of the showcase against linebackers. Jayden currently has some college interest, and with a 4.38 GPA, I would expect it to continue to increase.

[player_tooltip player_id='781303' first='Jayden' last='Williams'] - Butler - In my local Charlotte rankings, I ranked Jayden highly as a returning Class of 2025 prospect. One of the main reasons is because is he is a 3-down running back. Jayden ran for over 1500 yards last season against an incredibly hard schedule. I love Jayden's vision and the speed/agility combo that he possesses to get in and out of the hole. Jayden has shown on film that he can win individual matchups against linebackers in the passing game, and that is something he excelled in once again at this particular showcase. At 5'10 and 195 pounds, Jayden deserves more recruiting attention, but with a strong camp season and start to the regular season, I think that will come his way because he has produced at a very high level against the top teams in the state and beyond.

Elijah Bacon - Garner - I had a few people ask me about this young man during the showcase, and the impressive thing is how well Elijah moved at 5'10 and 210 pounds. Usually backs that size you think of in more of a power-back sense, but Elijah showed that he can be the full package at this particular showcase. In particular, Elijah showed this agility and quickness during the individual portion of the camp, always a great time to make an impression on coaches. I think Elijah can be a bell-cow kind of back - looking at his highlights last year, he seemed to be in more of a supporting role, but as a Class of 2025 prospect, I believe it is his time to have a breakout season and build on a strong showcase performance here.
