All of these prospects may on film play different positions or have different body types but the ATHLETE position is really assigned to prospects who may find themselves playing different position in college or play multiple positions in high school and could be recruited to play either one. This could mean positions on offense or defense or changing a players position on one side of the ball to better fit at the next level. This position is based a lot on a players overall athleticism and ability to move which they can showcase across multiple positions or have the requisite ability to even change positions.

Breylon McCuller - Carson Graham

McCuller was one of the most impressive players I was able to unearth when diving through the different regions of Canada. McCuller showcases elite size and length and could play TE or DE at the next level with the way he moves. McCuller has tape all over the field showcasing the ability to win jump balls 1v1 at WR and finishing the QB with violence.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150076' first='Wyatt' last='Poitras'] - Okanagan Mission

Poitras is another offense/defense prospect who could play WR/TE/LB/SAF at the next level depending on how he continues to develop into his frame and as an athlete. Overall, Poitras has impressive burst and athleticism and can impact the game with or without the ball in his hands. Poitras showcases really good change of direction and flashes some long speed on tape.

Anderson Bickell - Vernon

Bickell a WR/OLB prospect out of Vernon Secondary, BC. Bickell has a lot of solid WR tape where he showcases good change of direction and route running. Defensively he is a prospect who would need to add some weight to his frame but has good instincts and his athleticism in space would be effective on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1236619' first='Alex' last='Bezeau'] - Limoilou

Bezeau was a part of a stacked Limoilou group of offensive playmakers last season and where he stood out was in the return game where he was one of Canada's top return men. Bezeau has good vision with the ball in his hands and can find running lanes in traffic. He has good burst and is twitchy and quick enough to make guys miss in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='1227930' first='Gil' last='Allen'] -Tantramar

A two-way prospect out of New Brunswick, Allen is a talented DB/WR prospect who really is a standout on film. Allen is a level above his competition when it comes to athleticism and his speed and change of direction. New Brunswick has some solid players but Allen stands out as one of the best two-way players in the area.
