Furrey has recently transferred to Avon from West Orange, Florida where he is coming off of a solid season. He has a fantastic build, especially for a guy controlling the middle. He's thick and knows when to transfer his weight. His ability to track the ball through traffic makes him effective because he has no issue fighting through contact to make a tackle. He knows how to shed blocks, stay low, and wrap up. There are times he could stay with his keys a bit longer, but that's an experience thing. He's a smart player, no doubt, but like many things it just takes time. I don't think we've seen the best of Furrey yet and feel like he's a guy who could develop into a starter at the next level once he gets up to speed. He has the toolset and athletic ability, it'll just be up to him and how he develops.

Nelson's tape is fun to watch because you can flashes of potential that make you grin ear to ear. He's listed at 6'1" and 210lbs, but he seems taller than that. Maybe not, but he's got a frame that will fill out. For a guy his size, he's fairly twitchy as well, which is why he's so dominant at the LOS. While he's listed as an LB, I think at the next level he'll be used up front, like he primarily is here. He's interesting because he lines up right on the line, yet rarely puts his hand in the dirt, and is always rushing the passer or flushing the running game out. Of his 92 tackles last year, 22.5 were TFLs, and 9 of those were sacks. High-volume production with elite traits typically bodes well for long-term development.

Saevre has made steady progress his entire high school career to where now he's more than an impactful player on defense for them. He's blocked punts and made an impact on Special Teams in more than just that 1 area. He's a decent athlete who bends well. He has fantastic body control and knows how to attack the outside hip when wrapping up. Having an LB who can play all 3 downs, be a gunner on kick-off, and block punts when he gets a crease never gets old for a team. I struggle to believe Saevre isn't on the field somewhere during his collegiate career.
