College camp season is about to be in full swing and recruits will be swarming college campuses across the state of Texas. Today, I wanted to take a look at a few rising junior tight ends that I think could gain some serious steam this summer. Their recruitments do vary between prospects with a few offers to those without any. Regardless of where their recruitment is at right now when you throw on the tape, the potential is evident. Look for them to have a big summer on the college camp circuit and see their stock rise quickly.

Braden Bach, 6'5" 225, Argyle

A nasty in-line blocker with a powerful punch, plenty of churn on his knee drive, and consistent finishing ability through the echo of the whistle. Bach has a knack for finding his way behind coverage off play-action, he's a natural hands catcher who doesn't fight the football and is an extremely reliable double-team partner on gap double teams. Bach already has the size, bend, and toughness, if he can show in-depth route running ability, those power-four offers will flood in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188512' first='Jackson' last='Stoner'] 6'4" 230, Rockwall

A tough blocker who can slice across the line on split zone schemes and lower the boom. Stoner has some deception to his game and can bluff blocks coming across the line and sneak out to the flats for easy yardage. He is a tough, rugged runner after the catch and has no problem maintaining second-level blocks on iso schemes. If he can show that he can take the top off a defense as a vertical threat, watch his recruiting take off as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1194771' first='Jaivion' last='Martin'] 6'4" 245, Pflugerville

Martin recently picked up two power-four offers, and I think that list could grow rather quickly. On tape, he's a catch-and-tuck north and south runner who uses strength and balance to power through tackle attempts. He's got deceptive speed, impressive concentration on downfield shot plays and his physicality makes him a nightmare to tackle 1 on 1. He's a reliable threat working all three levels of the field and consistently produced explosive plays averaging fifteen yards a catch last fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1645329' first='Benny' last='Okwura'], 6'4" 210, St. Thomas

Benny does a great job using his frame to shield defenders from the football and has the body control to adjust & haul in back shoulder throws. He can take a quick game concept and generate chunk yardage, he has great speed to push corners out of their pedal early and is quite seamless transitioning out of his cuts. I'd like to see more film on him as a blocker, but there's a lot to like here early.
