The 2026 wide receiver class in South Carolina has a chance to be elite. There are already several Power 4 offers among the top players on this list but there's a chance several more could jump into that category with strong junior seasons.

There is one other thing we noticed when analyzing this class. These guys are bigger. A lot are listed over 6-foot tall and well over 180 pounds. They can run through you or around you. It's going to be an intriguing group to watch over the next two seasons.

Here is a look at all 20 wide receivers currently in the 2026 Class.

BREAKING DOWN THE TOP FIVE

[player_tooltip player_id='233146' first='Jordon' last='Gidron'] Ridge View

The Power 4 offers are piling in. You name a school and they more than likely have Gidron on their short list of wide receivers wants for 2026. He has great size, runs precise routes, and catches everything that comes near him. He's just scratching the surface of his potential. He's going to be a matchup problem for anyone on the Blazers schedule.

[player_tooltip player_id='377560' first='Donovan' last='Murph'] Irmo

If Gidron is the top ranked receiver in the 2026 Class, Murph might be 1B. The Power 4 schools are all over Murph as well. He can play on the slot or outside and not many defensive backs on the high school level can keep with Murph. He and [player_tooltip player_id='272713' first='AJ' last='Brand'] might set all kinds of passing yards records next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='816735' first='Jamel' last='Howse'] Newberry

Sticking with the theme of this class, Howse in a big body that can fly. He creates opportunities when it looks like nothing is there. Howse is tough to bring down in the open field and can line up on the outside or when his hand in the dirt as a tight end target.

[player_tooltip player_id='816751' first='Jude' last='Hall'] Christ Church

Hall is a potential breakout star of this class. He plays alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1012637' first='Jackson' last='Repp'] right now and that helped him average 22.5 yards per catch and nine touchdowns last season. He's long and athletic and does well in traffic. He had 24 catches last season, and that number could easily double this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165081' first='Kendall' last='Byrd'] AC Flora

Byrd and fellow 2026 classmate QB [player_tooltip player_id='1025784' first='Roper' last='Wentzky'] were a lethal combination last season. Byrd came on strong and finished with 66 catches for 1,069 yards and 14 touchdowns. Byrd was also a threat on special teams. He separates well and can take any short, intermediate or long pass to the house.

TEN RISING STARS

[player_tooltip player_id='205787' first='Hiszari' last='Gantt'] Silver Bluff

For the second season in a row, Gantt has been a workout wonder at the Carolina Coaches Combine series. At the Woodland Combine, he won overall MVP, Fastest 40, Best Broad Jump and Best Vertical. He has a new head coach, but speed and athleticism will be key for Gantt to put up huge numbers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1025782' first='Jordan' last='Jenkins'] Conway

Jenkins (pictured) does a lot of things well. It's no surprise he is a basketball standout as well. He's been playing at the varsity level since his freshman season. He can turn a quick screen or slant into six points quickly. If he gets a step on the defender, forget about it.

[player_tooltip player_id='591391' first='Blake' last='Betette'] Richland Northeast

Betette has a great trigger man in [player_tooltip player_id='272698' first='Will' last='Wilson']. Last season, Betette accounted for 39 receptions for 733 yards and six touchdowns in the Cavaliers attack. His strength and route-running might be the biggest attribute.

[player_tooltip player_id='816749' first='Torrean' last='Davis'] Spartanburg

Davis is another long and rangy receiver in this class. He should be a huge downfield threat for the Vikings. He was limited due to injury last season but could be a huge boost to the offense this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='816750' first='Kaleb' last='Berry'] Dreher

Berry runs well in traffic and can use his size to separate from defenders. He's a great route-runner and once he gets a step on you, good luck catching him. Berry will win more jump balls than he loses.

[player_tooltip player_id='1025814' first='Jaiden' last='Taylor'] Riverside

They call Taylor “Speedy” if that tells you anything. Taylor has a knack for the big-play as evident by his 10 receiving touchdowns last season. He also added a rushing TD last season. So don't let the size fool you, Taylor is a threat waiting to happen.

[player_tooltip player_id='816753' first='Rayvon' last='Green'] Myrtle Beach

Green also plays basketball and has great jumping ability. He lines up on the outside and his ball skills come into play on the deep ball. Green also can get off press coverage well. Also, a weapon on special teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='402486' first='Carnell' last='Warren'] May River

Warren caught 53 passes for 723 yards and nine touchdowns last season. The biggest thing – he's grown over an inch and added nearly 30 pounds. He's a big body type and makes catches in a small window. Warren also uses his hands well and catches the ball away from his body.

[player_tooltip player_id='1267277' first='Shamil' last='Saadiq'] Lugoff-Elgin

Saadiq should find more opportunities this season with a new coaching staff in place. He uses his larger frame well and wins the jump ball passes when needed. He lines up on the outside but can play through contact as needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1267282' first='Daylin' last='Haltiwanger'] Hammond

Haltiwanger could see his stock skyrocket this season. He's got great size, hands and quickness. Even though Hammond won the Class 4A SCISA state championship, they were mainly unsettled at quarterback most of the season. A change there and Haltiwanger could have a monster season.

FIVE DARK HORSE CANDIDATES

[player_tooltip player_id='1042719' first='Hayden' last='Morris'] Ridge View

Morris is a transfer from Indian Land and should fit right in with the Blazers pass happy offense. He's got the size and intangibles to be a great compliment to Gidron. He has great leaping ability and can run by defenders when needed. He scored 10 touchdowns and had over 850 yards receiving.

[player_tooltip player_id='1267320' first='Jon' last='Kelly'] Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach will have multiple receivers that can cause trouble for opposing defenses. Kelly is tall and physical. He's bigger than most slot receivers so he's able to line up there and find mismatches in the secondary.

Jocorreun Howze Lewisville

Howze caught 26 passes for 556 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore and he will be more of a vocal point of the Lions attack this season. He's shifty and can take a short pass the distance. Howze also does a great job at creating separation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1267334' first='Kameron' last='Vance'] Northwestern

One thing we know is that the Trojans are going to throw the ball in their Air Raid attack. Vance was one of nine receivers last season with double figure catches (26 receptions for 357 yards and seven scores). Even being undersized, he doesn't mind contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1267352' first='Thomas' last='Hutchinson'] Rock Hill

Hutchinson will benefit from playing alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1012834' first='Malik' last='Clark']. He's on the smaller side but his quickness allows him to find the open spot.
