Our final position group to break down in the 2025 class in Illinois is the offensive lineman. Ton of quality prospects throughout the state. We examine it in 2025 Film Evals: Northern Suburbs Offensive Lineman Pt 2!

[player_tooltip player_id='830858' first='Dontrall' last='Fort'] (Rockford Jefferson – 6'5” 320)

Fort is a lineman from the Rockford area that played right tackle this past year. Might project best at the next level as a guard. Strong hands and is nasty in the run game. Moves dudes! Average pass blocker. Think he would be a quality guard at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='537254' first='Liam' last='Carney'] (Wauconda – 6'4” 280)

Carney has good size along with long arms at the center position. Moves bodies inside with his strength, sound technique, and athleticism. Also plays defensive tackle where he shows some potential as a run stuffer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292182' first='Nolan' last='Brass'] (Byron – 6'3” 310)

Brass is a big and strong offensive lineman that plays left tackle. Like the projection a little more at either guard or right tackle. Bully in the run game blowing defenders off the line of scrimmage with his strength. Good blocker downfield. Didn't show anything on the tape in terms of pass pro.

[player_tooltip player_id='1166050' first='Arjan' last='Jawanda'] (Lake Forest – 6'1” 250)

This Lake Forest center is a plus athlete that is physical at the point of attack. Quick feet, anchors in the pass game, and brings IQ at the pivot spot!

[player_tooltip player_id='819676' first='Jeremiah' last='Alonge'] (Crystal Lake South – 6'3” 260)

Alonge is a 6'3" offensive lineman that plays at tackle, but probably projects best at the next level inside to center. Tough and mobile offensive lineman that finishes blocks and plays through the whistle. Good technique and will need to continue adding strength.

[player_tooltip player_id='537259' first='Mathew' last='Gasior'] (Glenbrook North – 6'0” 260)

Gasior is a good athlete with a strong frame at 6'0". Plays LT but will need to kick inside to guard or center at the next level. Mirrors well in pass pro and uses his hands well to keep opponents out of his body.

[player_tooltip player_id='849712' first='Caiden' last='O'Brien'] (Grayslake North – 6'0” 280)

O'Brien is a right tackle that is physical in the run game. Moves bodies. Solid in pass pro with his footwork and getting his hands on defender keeping them out of his body. Projects best as a guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292263' first='Vince' last='DeLordo'] (Jacobs – 6'2” 275)

DeLordo is a scrappy right tackle that we like best at guard. Blows defenders off the line in the run game and is an athletic blocker on the move. Raw strength and technique are evident.

[player_tooltip player_id='331454' first='Eduardo' last='Esguerra'] (Rockford East – 6'1” 265)

Esguerra is a 6'1" offensive guard that is a wide bodied kid. Stocky offensive lineman that moves bodies on the interior.

[player_tooltip player_id='537233' first='DJ' last='Maloney'] (Hersey – 6'3” 240)

Maloney is a good sized left guard at 6'3" that has good athleticism and solid all-around movement skills. Gritty lineman that moves bodies in the run game.

[player_tooltip player_id='331436' first='Tommy' last='McNeil'] (Crystal Lake Central – 6'2” 240)

McNeil is a guard that pulls well. Gritty in the run game. Also plays in the defensive front seven where he makes plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292780' first='Mikey' last='Varon'] (Fremd – 6'3” 285)

Varon is a right guard/center that has good size on the inteior along with frame to continue to add strength. Physical with his hands and turns defenders creating holes.

[player_tooltip player_id='287343' first='Kelley' last='Gassner'] (Huntley – 6'1” 180)

Gassner lines up at right tackle, but with his lack of ideal size and strength we see him moving inside to guard or center. Very physical in the run game and has good raw strength for his size. Mauls with his hands, technique, and physicality.
