Continue ReadingHere at PrepRedzone West Virginia, we continue digging to look at the 2026 recruiting class and each member of the watchlist at each position. Please note each athlete video may not be available for them on their respective huddle accounts but we will share what we do know about each student athlete.
We start off today with Josh Armentrout Josh Armentrout 6’4″ | 190 lbs | DL Musselman | 2026 WV , a 6-foot-4 and 195 pound defensive end/tight end out of Musselman. Unfortunately, there is no video for Armentrout on his Huddle page. What we do know is that Armentrout obviously possesses really nice size for both positions but there would have to be some serious weight gain needed from Armentrout before playing at the collegiate level. Additionally, Armentrout reports a 4.28 GPA.
Next up we have Riley Bell Riley Bell 6’6″ | 365 lbs | DL Princeton | 2026 WV out of Princeton. Again unfortunately, no video available for Bell, but we do know he plays both center and nose guard for Princeton. Additionally, Bell has elite size at 6-foot-6 and reports to be approximately 360 pounds. That weight would obviously have to be worked on if he hopes to see the field at the collegiate level. He has made visits this offseason to Marshall, Fairmont State, and Virginia Tech.
For James Monroe defensive lineman, Cade Dillon Cade Dillon 6’2″ | 225 lbs | DL James Monroe | 2026 WV we do have some highlights available albeit brief highlights. Dillon has nice size for the position at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds. Some of his highlights are on the offensive line as an OT for James Monroe. Also plays defensive tackle for James Monroe. Quality solid first step off the snap, needs to play with a little bit more bend in his game on both sides. Strength looks solid as well and quality feet.
A defensive tackle, Jones has very good size for a defensive tackle at 6-foot-4 and 319-pounds. He has recorded a 6.5 forty-yard dash and a 4.6 shuttle. Currently projects to a one-tech defensive tackle at the next level who would play well against the run. Has some upside as a pass rusher as well with a quality first step to his game.
Another defensive tackle, Manns has a good frame for the position at 6-foot-4 and 270-pounds and could add another 10-20 pounds to the frame it looks like. 5.8 forty-yard dash and 5.2 shuttle according to his HUDL page. Also plays offensive tackle on top of tight end when asked to do so. Only two brief highlights available on his HUDL page. Also plays basketball and is on the Woodrow Wilson track and field team.
A defensive end for Buckhannon-Upshur, Posey only has one highlight available from 2022. That being said, in that one highlight video, Posey shows off good athleticism and speed in the tape though we do not have any specific testing numbers for him either. Based on his reported size and what he shows briefly on tape, he’s worth putting down on your list as a name to remember.
