Following my breakdown of some high-level freshman running backs, here’s my list of the top 2027 offensive linemen in Kentucky to watch for this upcoming fall.
In the first place spot on my list is Brady Hull Brady Hull 6’3″ | 280 lbs | OL Pulaski County | 2027 State KY , an offensive lineman at Pulaski County High School. What impresses me about Hull is his excellent size and speed off the snap, proving he can absorb pressure and block the defense in the backfield. I also like Hull’s ability to contain the defense with his core strength, utilizing his wingspan to stun and overwhelm his opponent in the pocket.

I am additionally impressed with Justyn Perez Justyn Perez 6’3″ | 270 lbs | OL Woodford County | 2027 State KY , an offensive lineman at Woodford County High School. Perez stands out with his quick execution off the snap, his ability to wrap up the defensive line and his efficiency in opening up the field for the rush. Perez also proved his ability to contain heavy defensive pressure and use his strength to protect his quarterback during the blitz.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Harrison McGraw Harrison McGraw 6’0″ | 260 lbs | OL North Oldham | 2027 State KY , an offensive lineman at North Oldham High School. What I like about McGraw’s playstyle is his ability to lock down the defense with his size and strength and prolong time for his quarterback to get the ball out. I also like McGraw’s ability to absorb pressure and overpower the defense in crucial moments.

Another skilled prospect to watch for is Jeremiah Moore Jeremiah Moore 6’2″ | 275 lbs | OL Bryan Station | 2027 State KY , an offensive lineman at Bryan Station High School. What makes Moore so explosive at the line of scrimmage is his ability to contain the defense with his arms, showcasing his ability to stun his opponent and produce considerable pushback. I also like how Moore can block the defense off the handoff, opening up the field for the offense.
Coming in at number five on my list is Leelen Vanover Leelen Vanover 6’2″ | 280 lbs | OL Madison Southern | 2027 State KY , an offensive lineman at Madison Southern High School. Vanover stands out with his footwork and ability to maneuver the pocket, proving he can shut down the blitz and contain multiple defenders at once. I also like Vanover’s ability to adapt, proving he can match his foe’s physicality and use his size to lock down the opposition.

Also worth mentioning is Gavin Velotta Gavin Velotta 5’10” | 245 lbs | OL Apollo | 2027 State KY , an offensive lineman at Apollo High School. Velotta impresses me with his awareness and ability to read the defense off the snap. I also like how Velotta can block defenders off the handoff and buy the offense more time. Velotta’s ability to utilize his wingspan to wrap up the defense and cause disorganization in the defensive line also stands out.
Another playmaker to keep an eye on is Christian Shackelford Christian Shackelford 6’7″ | 270 lbs | OL Lexington Christian Academy | 2027 KY , an offensive lineman at Lexington Christian Academy. What I like about Shackelford is his outstanding height and wingspan, showcasing his ability to contain the defense and keep the opposition away from his quarterback during the blitz. Shackelford also stands out with his ability to block the defense and use his strength to push the defense backwards.
