Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made a name for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2024 season on the horizon, we’re looking for players whose stock is on the rise in the state.
These players are all talented and have college-level ability. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects that should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player in their journey to play college football.
Nate Gooden – Clearwater High c/o 25
5’10 150lbs
Gooden led Osceola in receiving yards last season with 32 receptions for 419 yards and a touchdown. Gooden transferredto Clearwater High this spring and will look to be a big contributor, he’s a slot receiver with good speed, burst, acceleration, and is good at using subtle moves and hesitation to set up defenders with the ball in his hands.
Richard Sykes- Lennard High c/o 25
6’3 190lbs
Sykes is a player that should be on college coaches radar this season. Last season he finished with 32 receptions for 393 yards and 3 touchdowns. He’s a big-bodied receiver that does a good job using his height and big wingspan to his advantage, shows good build up speed and has the ability to be a big weapon for Lennard High in 2024.
Kevin Cascudo- Homestead High
5’8 170lbs
Cascudo is another slot receiver from Homestead High that is very talented. Cascudalo finished second on the team with 30 catches for 500 yards. He possesses very good change-of-direction ability, shows outstanding running ability on quick screens and Homerun hitting speed. He’s very good at creating space with sharp burst and smooth acceleration, Homestead does a good job getting him out in space and showing off his natural playmaking and running ability. Cascudo picked up his first D1 offer from Bowling Green in February.
Moses White- Hillsborough High c/o 25
6’4 195lbs
White is one of the more naturally talented wide receivers in the Tampa Bay area. Last season he registered 28 receptions for 374 yards and 3 touchdowns. He is the total package with height, speed, and leaping ability that’s unmatched. He’s a good route runner, showing the ability for a big receiver to drop his hips and get out of this breaks, and shows natural hands and plucks the ball out of the air. He currently has offers from Ole Miss, Liberty, and Maryland.
