Before the dust settles from the HS spring session and college camp showcases, recruits eagerly anticipate the upcoming season. With new talent emerging and established players stepping up their game, there are plenty of notable stock risers who deserve recognition. These athletes have put in the work and have seen an uptick in offers/interest. Let's take a closer look at some top performers ready to shine this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='748968' first='Carl' last='Jenkins'] Jr | WR | 2025 | SAHS | @thecarljenkins

Recent offers: Coastal Carolina, Tulane, Pittsburgh, FAU

Jenkins has stamped himself as one of the top 2025 WR prospects in the state after earning All-District honors in his junior season. Jenkins is an electric athlete with sticky-glue hands and is a home run threat after the catch. Jenkins has flashed good route-running skills and initial release while using basketball-esque hops to beat defenders mid-air for contested catches. He's also displayed vapor speed to beat defenders in coverage and is equally lethal in open space. A rising prospect that should be on all Florida universities' radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='749820' first='Tyler' last='Williams'] | WR | 2025 | Sumner | @TJgokrazzy

Recent offers: Georgia, South Carolina, Tulane, Indiana, ECU

What a year Williams put together as he showed off his ability to be the Real Deal at wideout in his junior season. This kid has big play written on his sleeve because of his blazing speed and sticky glue hands. Williams will certainly be a big-time recruit and make a college coach happy at the next level.

Blake Wallace | WR | 2025 | Spanish River | @BlakeWallace_14

2023 stats: 55 receptions, 1063 yards, 16 TDs, 118.1 YPG

Wallace has jumped onto my radar since his 100+ performance in Week One. He's been a consistent scoring threat all season with nearly 20 total TDs for Spanish River. He's a big-play playmaker who is dangerous after the catch with good speed and open-field moves. Wallace has a college-ready frame at 6'2, 175 pounds with another year to add weight and develop technique.

Maddox Spencer | WR | Class of 2025 | Nease | @MaddoxSpencer14

2023 stats: 68 receptions – 1348 yards – 16 TD

This kid has to be one of the more slept-on WR prospects in the area as he's finished second in total receiving yards in the state for juniors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1134152' first='Josh' last='Robinson'] | WR | 2025 | Calvary | @Rob03Black

2023 stats: 52 receptions – 1083 yards – 13 TD

Consecutive offseason performances equaled a string of offers for Robinson who has shown off elite track speed in the 7v7 setting. Robinson broke Calvary's single-season reception record in his junior season while showing off his electric big-play ability. Plenty of upside for Robinson to create interest around his recruitment.

[player_tooltip player_id='1132452' first='Evan' last='James'] | WR | Class of 2025 | Leesburg | @Evanjames2025

James is emerging as one of the rising 2025 wide receivers who has proven to be a playmaker throughout the season. He finished leading the team in receptions and receiving yards in 8 games played. DOG!

[player_tooltip player_id='1317582' first='Makih' last='Johnson'] | WR | 2025 | CAI | @Makihjohnson2

Each time I get eyes on Johnson, he flashes his advanced route running and soft hands. He has good speed for his 6'2, 190-pound frame and has shown his reliability to bring down catches consistently. He will be another riser WR in the 2025 class who should bring in some offers when he touches down at colleges this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='275808' first='Gerald' last='Lawton III'] | ATH | Class of 2025 | Trinity Catholic | @juicelawtonIII

Each time I see this kid he's dominating opposing defensive backs with his jet engine speed and “Juice” agility he uses to get around the field. Lawton is an impressive wideout that can have success in the slot at the next level. Excited to see what he can do in his senior season.
