Sarasota Riverview Makes Major Strides

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are several ways to view the 2023 season for Sarasota Riverview's football team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Do you focus on the 3-5 start the Rams had or do you check out the finish – where this program went three rounds deep in the state playoffs, finishing out an 8-5 season, losing to rival Venice for the second time in a 4S playoff game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What head coach <strong>Joshua Smithers </strong>and his staff have done with this program is not only kept them in the playoff mix, but has developed a program that continues to improve each season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As they headed into the off-season, the objective is to play off a very talented rising senior (2025) class.
