This week, Prep Redzone Scout Drew Johnson will highlight instrumental recruits who have consistently produced this season. As noted frequently, Prep Redzone Florida aims to provide adequate coverage of all athletes for college coaches At All Levels and readers to evaluate.
Carter Emmanuel Carter Emmanuel 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Orlando Lake Nona | 2026 FL | QB | 2026 | Edgewater | @CarterEmanuel1
This kid continues to develop at the QB position and college coaches are catching on. He’s made the move over to Edgewater this season and is set for a productive off-season period. Solid sophomore year for Emmanuel who looks ready to take the next step.
Niko Boyce Niko Boyce 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Barron Collier | 2025 FL | QB | 2025 | Barron Collier | @NikoBoyce
I’ve been impressed with Boyce’s development since seeing him dominate a year ago at our PRZ event. He’s since improved in the off-season where I saw him perform at a couple of P5 camps and he only brought that momentum into the season with 31 total TDs in year three. A bright future ahead for this kid as he’s determined to progress at the position.
Bjorn Jergensen | QB | 2025 | Bishop Moore | @Jurgensen17
This kid is about hard work! Always see him taking advantage of QB training sessions and camp opportunities which have helped put this name on the map while playing with a talented Bishop Moore program during the regular season. At 6-3, 185 pounds, Jergensen’s time is coming to show he can lead an offense at the next level.
Joel Morris | QB | 2026 | Summer High | @Joel1morris
Morris has taken the recruiting scene by storm beginning at the start of last summer when he dominated at various Power Five camps. Morris will be the starting quarterback for Summer this season and will have a lot of eyes studying his performances. He has advanced quarterback mechanics with really good arm strength. His frame at 6’2, 180 pounds is also intriguing because he has three more years of development left. All college coaches in Florida should start paying attention and get familiar with Joel Morris.
Chase Cromartie Chase Cromartie 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Viera | 2025 FL | QB | 2025 | Viera | @CromartieChase
One of the true sleepers in the state now grew into his body and looked to have added a few inches to his frame. This kid is underrated but has some of the arm strength and quarterback IQ I’ve seen recently. I’m interested to see his work ethic pay off heading into the spring. He threw for over 2000 passing yards with 22 TDs in his junior season.
Brogan McNab Brogan McNab 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB Melbourne Holy Trinity | 2026 FL | QB | 2026 | Holy Trinity Episcopal | @BroganMcNab2026
McNab adds to one of the more stacked 2026 quarterback classes that I’ve had a chance to cover. The three-year varsity starter has displayed good footwork mechanics and a grasp of the offense in his time under center. The dual-threat riser has been an important component of the offense as he’s able to stretch the defense with a good arm and decent rushing attack with his legs.
Edward Jordan | QB | 2026 | @duttgoviral
Fresh off a productive sophomore year behind center that saw Edward Jordan throw for over 2500 yards with 35 TDs. This kid is continuing to make noise in the offseason as he’s stood out at QB camps while putting in the training to work on his overall game. Jordan is an accurate pocket passer who led his team to a 9-1 finish a season ago. Got to keep an eye on his progression heading into spring/fall,
John Kostuch John Kostuch 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Winter Haven | 2025 FL | QB | 2025 | Winter Haven | @JohnKostuch
One of the premier QB prospects in the Polk County area continues to compress in the offseason as he’s only added weight to his frame which has filled out while playing both football and baseball for his high school. Kostuch is a natural passer with a solid base to get power on his throws. He’s constantly working on his timing and footwork which he’ll look to use in the regular season to lead the Blue Devils offense.
Robert Kerns Robert Kerns 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Archbishop McCarthy | 2026 FL | QB | 2026 | Archbishop McCarthy | @RobertKernss
Dual threat passer who was noticed for his talents at the recent Elite 11 camp. Kerns is a 2026 riser who will have the chance to put his name on the college radar this fall season under center.
