The spring football period has hit full force, and the Natural State is doing a great job of opening eyes in the process.
Slade Norwood Slade Norwood 5'11" | 155 lbs | QB Farmington | 2027 State AR -Quarterback-Farmington-2027
The Farmington signal caller had a busy week last week. Norwood was up in Rogers preparing for the camp at War Memorial Stadium over the weekend. He did an impressive job at both locations throwing the football with impressive accuracy. Norwood continues to display the talent of being able to throw the ball while scrambling out of the pocket. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons for Farmington.

Arkansas prospects had a strong showing at the Football University camp in Nashville over the weekend. Logan Hart Logan Hart 5'8" | 140 lbs | QB Bentonville West | 2029 AR has a strong arm and impressive accuracy when throwing the football. He is able to fit the ball into some tight windows. Hart does a good job of extending the play when the pocket is breaking down. He knows when to use his legs to extend drives and is a player to watch out for over the next few seasons. Over the weekend, Hart earned an invitation to the Football University Top Gun event taking place later in June. Congratulations go out to him from Prep Redzone Arkansas.

Chase Hancock Chase Hancock 5'10" | 155 lbs | WR Pulaski Academy | 2028 AR is one of the most impressive prospects in the class of 2028. He is a dynamic playmaker at the wide receiver position. Hancock is a difficult player to bring down. He does a great job of making plays in the open field. Hancock mixes good speed with strong route running skills. He is a major target to watch out for over the next few years out of Pulaski Academy. Hancock has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.
Owen McLaughlin Owen McLaughlin 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Batesville | 2026 State AR -Running Back-Batesville-2026
The Batesville running back opened plenty of eyes at the Football University camp in Nashville over the weekend. McLaughlin does a great job of picking the appropriate rushing lane and exploding through the hole. He is a running back that rarely has to come off of the field. McLaughlin does a great job of catching the ball out of the backfield and he is a threat to take it the distance from anywhere on the field. Dwayne White Dwayne White 6'4" | 195 lbs | WR Prescott | 2025 State AR continues to open eyes from a national perspective. He put on a great showing at the Overtime 7-on-7 event in Dallas over the weekend. White does a tremendous job of catching the football and making plays afterward. He is a threat when it comes to making plays in the open field. Meanwhile, he has the speed to stretch the field vertically. Look for a big season from White this upcoming season.
