PRZIA 2026 Rankings Update | WL Guys to Watch

Student-athletes can make their biggest jumps between their sophomore and junior seasons. That said, they video we see impresses. At 6-3 with long arms, Estremera bursts off of the outside and disrupts proceedings in the opponents' backfield. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-[player_tooltip player_id='1238635' first='Ethan' last='Headings'] enjoyed a solid sophomore season at West with 17 solo tackles and an interception last fall. Like Estremera, the highlight clips from last season on his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/17874061/Ethan-Headings/highlights">Hudl Page</a> are limited, but what is there makes you want to watch more. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-Waukee athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1240890' first='Tavian' last='White'] flashes potential on both sides of the ball and special teams during his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17793223/65625ba67bd351084084d1a0">sophomore highlight video</a>. It will be exciting to see what he can do with more varsity reps this fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-[player_tooltip player_id='1221971' first='Leyton' last='Wolf'] is somewhat of a unicorn as a 6-7 quarterback with mad basketball skills. The only football video on his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/18093090/Leyton-Wolf/highlights">Hudl Page</a> is from two years ago, but it's fun and could foreshadow a breakout in his first season as the starter in '24. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-[player_tooltip player_id='1221969' first='Jaden' last='Ubben'] has a collection of different clips on his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/17858168/Jaden-Ubben/highlights">Hudl Page</a>. They show an athletic performer at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds with a chance to impact an always talented program in this coming campaign. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-[player_tooltip player_id='1241413' first='Broderick' last='Sabers'] features individual game highlights on his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/17810677/Broderick-Sabers/highlights">Hudl Page</a>. When you consider that on them you're watching a 6-6, 220-pound sophomore with athleticism and physicality, it's worth keeping an eye on how the '24 season plays out. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-As a sophomore last season, [player_tooltip player_id='1242954' first='Conlan' last='Poynton'] rushed for almost 1,000 yards with 14 touchdowns. The athleticism and speed he displays running with the ball also works well on defense, as you can see on his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17952290/6535d89aff0288093c608dae">highlight video</a>. He could have a huge junior year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-Like others on this list, the video on [player_tooltip player_id='1241504' first='Johari' last='Muigai']'s <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/17756543/Johari-Muigai/highlights">Hudl Page</a> is limited. Also like the other guys, it will be interesting to watch Muigai's junior highlights. It's not easy finding productive cover corners, and he has a chance to be that. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-It looks like [player_tooltip player_id='1240477' first='Joe' last='Mausser'] could take a step forward as a junior after watching what he has posted on his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/17802453/Joe-Mausser/highlights">Hudl Page</a>. It's a combination of strength, athleticism and quickness that intrigues. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-[player_tooltip player_id='1240419' first='Tate' last='Carter'] shows in the few plays from his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/15147431/Tate-Carter/highlights">Hudl Page</a> that he has agility and an aptitude for playing center. At 6-3, 250 pounds, that makes him very interesting moving forward. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
