The Class of 2026 is shaping up to be a great one in the state of Iowa. Over 300 prospects with next-level talent are already on the PRZ Iowa crew’s radar with our latest update jumping from 30 ranked players to 195.
To help break down the new names, we are rolling out our “Prospect Profiles” to give you a quick snapshot of each player. Each profile includes the player’s listed weight, height, testing numbers, notable PRs in track or the weight room, and stats from the 2023 season. We also highlight each player’s strengths with a list of that prospect’s top attributes based on their Hudl film.
The last position to be profiled, and certainly not the least, is the unsung hero of the team: the specialist. We have a strong crop of kickers and a standout punter who made our spring update. Check them out!

Jimmy Scott Jimmy Scott 6'3" | 195 lbs | K Lewis Central | 2026 State IA | Lewis Central | 6’3″ 195 lbs | K: 1 | Hudl | Twitter
One of the stronger boots in the Class of 2026! Lewis Central’s Jimmy Scott Jimmy Scott 6'3" | 195 lbs | K Lewis Central | 2026 State IA spent all season pinning opposing offenses deep on kickoffs with 20 touchbacks. Expect Jimmy to take a huge step forward next season production-wise as he will take over for the graduating starter from last year. We might also see Jimmy take on a bigger role on offense as a receiver, where he’ll be able to flash his 4.75 40-yard speed and 4.38 shuttle quickness.
Cael Harms Cael Harms K Cedar Falls | 2026 State IA | Cedar Falls | 5’11” 160 lbs | K:2 | Hudl | Twitter
Cedar Falls kicker Cael Harms Cael Harms K Cedar Falls | 2026 State IA had a “perfect” sophomore season. He finished the year going 7/7 on field goal attempts, with a long of 39 yards. Cael was also perfect on his PATs, converting 37 of 37 attempts. Cael’s accuracy and consistency should carry him into a strong junior campaign.
Roberto Gomez Roberto Gomez K Perry | 2026 State IA | Perry | 6’0″ 170 lbs | K: 3 | Hudl | Twitter
Roberto is a player I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do in year 3 as he receives more kicking opportunities. Gomez went a perfect 4/4 on field goal attempts with a long of 32 yards. He also scored 16 PATs.
Cam Scupham Cam Scupham 6'0" | 160 lbs | K Bettendorf | 2026 State IA | Bettendorf | 6’0″ 160 lbs | K:4 | Hudl | Twitter
Sch=upham didn’t receive many scoring opportunities in his sophomore year, but that should change next year as he will likely be the Bulldogs’ starting kicker. Scupham converted 6 of his 7 PATs and had reps as the kicker on kickoffs and punts.
Ayden Gabrielson Ayden Gabrielson 6'0" | 145 lbs | K Waukee Northwest | 2026 State IA | Waukee Northwest | 6’0″ 145 lbs | K: 5 | Hudl | Twitter
Ayden is a player we’re projecting to rise this offseason either as a kicker or an ATH, considering what he’s been able to do on the track and soccer field this spring. With the Wolves’ two senior kickers from last season graduating, Ayden should be able to swoop as the starter seamlessly.
Christian Anguiano Christian Anguiano K Springville | 2026 State IA | Springville | 6’0″ | K: 6 | Hudl | Twitter
Springville’s kicker Christian Anguiano Christian Anguiano K Springville | 2026 State IA had a solid kicking year, showing not only his ability to knock down PATs/FGs, but also that he’s an asset on kickoffs. Christian didn’t have a ton of field goal attempts, going 2-for-3 on his kicks and a long of 34, but he did score 32 PATs. Christian was also able to record 13 touchbacks on his 56 kickoff attempts.
Mason Stitz Mason Stitz 6'1" | 160 lbs | P Carroll | 2026 State IA | Carroll | 6’1″ 160 lbs | P: 1 | Hudl | Twitter
Mason is the lone punter to make the rankings in this set of updates (should grow for next time). Mason had a tremendous sophomore season in which he averaged over 34 yards per punt, accumulating 928 total punt yards on only 27 punts. Mason displayed the ability to put a good amount of power and air under his punts to produce some solid hang time.
