Prep Redzone hosted a Combine and Camp Saturday afternoon at Grants High School. More than 70 prospects participated in the camp. Here are 10 prospects whose stock rose based on their performance:

[player_tooltip player_id='1248670' first='Ethyn' last='Boyd'], Pojoaque Valley: Boyd was one of NINE Pojoaque Valley to make the long trip to Grants (about 2-1/2 hours each way) and Boyd was named one of the best offensive linemen at the Combine. A rising senior, Boyd has good size at 6-foot-3, 247 pounds. Also a standout wrestler and track athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='1137878' first='Cardenio' last='Chavez'], Grants: A rising junior (2026), Chavez ran the 40 in under 4.7 seconds and looked good running routes and catching the football at Saturday's Combine. He possesses good height (6-0), so if he continues to grow and develop he could become a legitimate prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1137877' first='Kaleb' last='Hutchens'], Bloomfield: Hutchens had 24 receptions for 356 yards as a sophomore for the Bobcats in 2023 and Saturday he put those skills on display. Solid receiver. Between QB [player_tooltip player_id='615635' first='Blake' last='Spencer'], Hutchens and others, Bloomfield should again have a high-powered offense in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248667' first='Dominic' last='Lucero'], West Mesa: Lucero earned Co-MVP honors at quarterback along with [player_tooltip player_id='615513' first='Kelly' last='Stevens'] of Las Cruces. He'll compete to replace [player_tooltip player_id='275488' first='Elijah' last='Brody'] at QB for the Mustangs.

[player_tooltip player_id='615512' first='Noah' last='Lundstrom'], Grants: Lundstrom is a rising senior defensive back for the Pirates. He made several good plays on Saturday. That shouldn't be surprising considering he's made 86 tackles and intercepted 5 passes for Grants in his first two years with he varsity.

[player_tooltip player_id='1137124' first='RJ' last='Montoya'], Hope Christian: The Huskies had six players at Saturday's Combine, a testament to the coaching staff. Montoya is a dynamic dual threat QB and he was rated by the coaches as one of top signal callers at the Combine.

Ke'Maurion Morrall, Alamogordo: We identified Morrall as a player to watch at the Combine and he performed up to expectations. He's a 6-foot-0, 225-pound DE for the Tigers and he looks ready to enjoy a big senior year after earning First-Team All-District honors in 2023. He'll soon be on the recruiting radar of college coaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='615451' first='Christian' last='Powell'], Valley: Powell and teammate [player_tooltip player_id='837220' first='Juan' last='Vigil'] both impressed at Saturday's Combine. Powell isn't as big as Vigil (few players are) but he's a legit 6-foot-1, 235 pounds and plays with high motor. Valley is going to have a nasty DL this coming season with Powell and Vigil.

[player_tooltip player_id='1237979' first='Daniel' last='Quinones'], Eldorado: Quinones has already been offered by New Mexico Highlands, but more offers could be forthcoming after his impressive performance Saturday. Quinones runs well (4.6 in 40). Eldorado looks ready to make a playoff run in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='854309' first='Zachary' last='Waghorn'], Albuquerque Academy: Statistically, Waghorn brought strong credentials to Grants as he made 120 tackles and 7 sacks as a sophomore for Albuquerque Academy in 2023. He showed Saturday at the PRZ Combine that those impressive stats were no fluke as he was rated as one of the top LBs there. Good speed and quickness.
