On Sunday DOGG WRLD made it to the semifinals and took down the #1 seed in the tournament Wingmen Crimson a collection of players from St. Joe’s Prep in Philadelphia. DOGG WRLD showcased consistent play throughout the tournament and was effective both offensively and defensively.
Bouncing between two fields I was not able to catch every single one of DOGG WRLD’s games but I saw multiple games between the two days.
Below are some of the names that caught my eye through some of the DOGG WRLD games I was able to catch.
Jordan Johnson Jordan Johnson 5'11" | 150 lbs | QB Calvert | 2026 State MD
Jordan Johnson Jordan Johnson 5'11" | 150 lbs | QB Calvert | 2026 State MD
Jordan Johnson Jordan Johnson 5’11” | 150 lbs | QB Calvert | 2026 State MD was an unknown QB prospect to me at the start of the tournament and was impressed with what I saw. Johnson was consistent and got the ball out faster than most of the other QBs at the tournament. Johnson was accurate as he was a big reason DOGG WRLD was so effective in the middle of the field and throwing the ball within 10 yards of the LOS. Johnson did flash some arm strength and ball placement down the field making some impressive throws through limited space. Johnson’s best performance came against the Wingmen Crimson where he faced the best defense from the day before and showcased some impressive throws to the sidelines that took confidence and poise. Was really impressed with Johnson over the course of two days.
Evan Jones Evan Jones 5’11” | 160 lbs | WR Patuxent | 2026 MD was a consistent player for DOGG WRLD and he showcases really smooth athleticism and high-level ball skills. Jones was a factor with the ball in his hands and was one of the many prospects on DOGG WRLD who could make plays after the catch and make guys miss in 7v7. What stood out about Jones was how smooth and efficient his movements were. As he made cuts and changed direction it seemed effortless and he showcased quickness that was amongst the tournament’s best.
Xavier Jones
Xavier Jones
Xavier Jones may be the youngest prospect on the 18u DOGG WRLD team but he was a big-time contributor on both sides of the ball. Jones was effective in making plays defensively with good closing speed and some quick instinctive defensive back play. Jones showed twitch and burst as an athlete and was consistently making an impact every time I saw him play.
Peyton Johnson
Peyton Johnson
Peyton Johnson is a long lean WR prospect who showcased controlled athleticism with the ability to make difficult catches. A 2026 prospect, I was impressed with Johnson’s smooth athleticism and ability to be explosive out of his breaks. Johnson was a top target for DOGG WRLD and showcased a really impressive mix of athleticism, size, and the ability to get open.
Darius Searles
Darius Searles
Darius Searles was an impressive two-way player for DOGG WRLD and at 6’3 he showcased a very impressive frame that was utilized on both sides of the ball. Searles has elite length but he uses it well showcasing good use of hands as a DB and the ability to use his length and make plays on the ball. Offensively, Searles was not as busy as some of his other teammates in the games I saw but he impressed with his movement skills and showcased consistent hands and the ability to make plays when called upon.
Trent Depompa
Trent Depompa
Trent Depompa was one of the multiple consistent targets on the DOGG WRLD offense and while Depompa went through phases of getting targets there were multiple occasions he would dominate drives consistently creating separation and finding space over the middle of the field. Depompa was a standout through multiple different games I saw and executed when called upon.
