Prep Network Scouts have access to a ton of statistical information on our coverage of athletes and the number of views our reports generate. While I strive to see that different regions of the state get coverage and that all positions on the field get coverage, it is still a data-driven business and it’s still a tough goal to achieve.
This might sound whiney, but I feel like sharing. I recently posted three reports on prospects from the eight-man ranks and the number of views for all three posts did not add up to even 10 percent of the views I get on average for reports on prospects from bigger schools. That does not mean I will quit covering the eight-man ranks, but it does provide some insight into which players and schools get more exposure than others.
After looking at our coverage data, here is a scouting report on five ranked linemen who have not recently been covered as frequently as some of their peers. All five big men are in the Kansas Class of 2025 and all are ranked in the Top 35 in a class with 385 ranked Sunflower State prospects.
As always thanks for the continued support of our subscribers and if you have questions or comments feel free to DM me on the X platform at @KSScoutDeck or email me at deckscoutks@gmail.com. Also, remember that I will not respond to rude or negative messages.
Caden Estrada Caden Estrada 6'1" | 270 lbs | OL Washburn Rural | 2025 State KS , OL, 6’1”, 170, Washburn Rural
Estrada is a highly skilled offensive lineman who can play guard or tackle. He has a quick first step and gets off the ball well. The Juniors Blue’s big man is more efficient at running blocking. Estrada is currently ranked No. 13 overall by Prep Redzone and should end up playing for a Division I or Division II school.
Lincoln Stueve Lincoln Stueve 6'4" | 220 lbs | DL Blue Valley | 2025 State KS , DL, 6’4”, 220, Blue Valley
Stueve is ranked No. 20 overall and is the fourth-ranked defensive lineman. He recorded 91 tackles during his junior season and has a total of 163 tackles in the last two seasons. Stueve beats blockers with his speed which accounted for seven quarterback sacks and 22 tackles for lost yardage in 12 games for the Blue Valley Tigers last season.
Erick Jons Erick Jons 6'6" | 285 lbs | OL Basehor-Linwood | 2025 State KS , OL, 6’6”, 285, Basehor-Linwood
Jons will get scouted based on his size alone, but this young man can protect the quarterback. He projects to be a solid pass-protecting tackle. He has quick feet and with his size, he can overpower some defenders. The Bobcat blocker is currently ranked No. 23 among his Kansas peers in the class of 2025.
Petren Bartolome Petren Bartolome 6'0" | 290 lbs | OL Junction City | 2025 State KS , OL, 6’0”, 290, Junction City
I first saw Bartolome last spring at a college combine, and I am sure he will be out and about at combines this season. He is a strong young man who will only get stronger once he has a college-level strength coach to work with. He has been invited to camps hosted by DI programs and is currently ranked No. 32 overall.
Gage Gibson Gage Gibson 6'4" | 220 lbs | OL Salina Central | 2025 State KS , OL, 6’4”, 220, Salina Central
The Mustangs are loaded with talent on their offensive line and I have already circled a Salina Central game for next fall to scout. Gibson is currently ranked No. 33 overall and is the eighth-ranked offensive lineman. He has a giant reach, which aids him in getting immediate engagement with defenders.
