Siegner is only a rising Junior, but one of the top edge players that Idaho has to offer regardless of class. During his 2023 campaign, he played mostly as a stand up defensive end, and showed he can play with heavy hands, violence at the POA and does a tremendous job at setting the edge and applying pressure in space. He shows a quick first step, gets his hands on blockers immediately and has a quick lock out before getting off blocks and chasing down ball carriers. He is a high motor kid with closing speed, relies on power and strength to get into the backfield and can track down ball carriers from the backside. As he continues to grow and pack on more weight to his frame, he should be a true 4-down defensive end at the college level and is a no brainer next level kid.
Highlights
Loper is one of the better interior defensive line prospects that Idaho has to offer in this up-coming Senior class, and should have no problem finding a home once his prep career comes to a close. He is a very explosive and violent player that is fast off the ball and strikes into blockers quickly while resetting the LOS with ease and showing he can get off blocks and redirect down the LOS. He wins with a low hat and powerful leg drive at the POA, while showing a variety of power rush moves at his disposal as well. As he continues to work on his hip flexibility and twitch inside, he will only add more to his toolbox but should start to see his recruitment pick up at the D3+ level sooner rather than later.
The Meridian product is another stand up edge player that could find his hand in the dirt at the next level, but is a tremendous pass rusher and wins with both speed and natural strength at the POA. When pass rushing, he shows natural bend around the edge, heavy hands and can quickly get off blocks/shows a quick use of hands at the point of contact and can quickly redirect while showing strong lateral movement abilities when surfing/scraping down the LOS to take on blockers. In the run game, he does a nice job at understanding gap responsibilities and working half man, while controlling blockers with his inside punch and lock out. He is a strong kid with a powerful build, and offers good position versatility for Meridian heading into 2024.
Graham checks into our rankings as a top ten defensive back in this talented 2026 class, and will be one of the more balanced and elite cover guys across the region come the Fall for Rigby. He is twitchy in transition with fluid hips, and can make plays on the ball with good hands, natural instincts and some return abilities after the catch. He is a natural peddler that can drive quickly and shows good timing on the ball and is not afraid to help out in run support either and flashes excellent open field tracking/tackling abilities. The Rigby rising Senior has already plenty of varsity experience heading into 2024, and should be one of their better defensive players on an impressive returning defense.
