This weekend I will be traveling down to the greater-Atlantic City area for Coach Keith Alston's inaugural Trenchlab Gauntlet. The event, the first of its kind that I have become familiar with, will feature nearly 50 of the area's most competitive offensive and defensive linemen as they compete in a tournament-type event to determine the winner. The winner will earn a $1500 NIL Deal to go along with the championship belt.

The towering prospect currently holds an offer from Western Michigan. A quick once over of his film shows us that Garvin has very quick feet. this allows him to win reach blocks and also climb to the second level with ease. From a posture standpoint, he works his hands up-and-under when drive blocking and his body, at moments, shows that it is starting to conform to the upward finish/bend we all aim for. In pass protection he has the upper body strength to toss opponents to the ground, while also possessing the discipline for pass rushers to enter his vicinity before punching to keep them at bay. Regardless of whether it is run or pass, Garvin works and then finds more work after that. Given his massive stature I would like to see him stretch out his lower-half to improve his pad level before the fall.rnrnAs Garvin prepares to come to Jersey this weekend, I can only greet him with a proper, u0022how you doin'?u0022","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662a602486e28"} /-->

[player_tooltip player_id='816319' first='Cooper' last='Ebeling'], he is currently ranked the #7 offensive line prospect in Pennsylvania. A major piece to the varsity puzzle, film show Ebeling, a guard, love to work the chest of his opponents and absolutely get into their grill. In one instance I saw, Ebeling had a clinic-tape clip of zone footwork to overtake a first-level double team. He seems to be a bit more refined up-top - grabbing, pushing, and pulling - in general. I like his feet a bit better in pass protection right now than anything. As he improves his bend and his leg drive, Ebeling will be a force to be reckoned with. A youngster no doubt, I am intrigued as to what the 6'4u0022 280lb rising freshman has to offer in-person.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662a602486f52"} /-->

The benefactor of all this? The Lawrenceville School. Joining them will be offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1105222' first='Jordan' last='Gravener'], formerly of Williamstown. Film shows us that Gravener's success begins with his ability to bend in his stance. A smart student of the game, he understands his pass protection rules, passing off appropriate assignments to his running back. With a real nice kick step, Gravener gets his hands up and under you, looking to bury you if you try to get airborne to match the quarterback. In the run game Gravener keeps his feet moving and his hands engaged. His footwork enables him to turn and seal the edge down at times too. This weekend I am curious to see how well he powers down to protect the B gap.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662a602486fce"} /-->

There are some positive things to see on film; however, Irvine appears to be a winner during the camp season. Dating back to last spring when he was a tight end, I named him 2nd Team All-Jersey Juice at that event. More recently, he has earned repeated invites at various events. Aside from being mindful of other events and if they bring true value or are just a cash grab, I am interested to see Irvine compete again this spring - albeit this time as an offensive lineman.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/19521321/Joe-Irvine/highlights?_gl=1*v9924l*_ga*MTUxNjYwNTM5LjE3MTAzMzkzMzM.*_ga_29LPHS2HWC*MTcxNDA0ODE2Mi4zMDcuMS4xNzE0MDQ4NzkzLjAuMC4wu0022u003eu003cstrongu003eHudlu003c/strongu003eu003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662a602487041"} /-->

On film we see Schwartz's primarily showcase defensive highlights, so I am intrigued to see how her performs as an offensive lineman. On offense he has two very good initial steps that allow him to gain position on his assignment. Similarly, for someone his size he moves very well when asked to pull. On defense we see him play the nose and has a tremendous get off. This allows him to pressure screens very well too. He can press centers off of him at times and shows to fight pressure by spinning against it to the open gap. Schwartz is currently on PRZPA's watchlist. If is live performance matches his film, expect him to be a big stock-riser in a hurry.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662a602487094"} /-->
