Not a player that is going to wow you with his testing numbers although they were solid for his age and his size. In drills and one one ones he is lights out and a monster with his performance and dominance. Ace moves so well for his size, plus he’s powerful, surprisingly quick, has good feet, has good punch, uses his hands well and is good against quick guys off the edge. His pass pro is advanced for his age and he plays with a mean streak despite being one of the nicest young men you’ll find. Dawson is also versatile and competed inside and out in 1v1s so he could go against top competition he saw doing well. He really impressed the OL coaches on the day. Started as a freshman last season and had a dominant year. If he continues on his current trajectory he will be in high demand from colleges.

6’2″ 263 Testing Results: 5.33 40 – 4.53 pro agility – 26″ vertical – 8’5″ broad jump
The most athletic young offensive lineman on the day during testing, including the fastest, despite tweaking a hamstring that prevented him from competing in one on one action. Jude is fast, explosive, powerful, agile and quick. He was impressive in every event. He has good size, loves the weight room and has a frame to get bigger and keep his athleticism. Jude was another freshman starter for his Jaguars and impressed me when I watched him in game action. He’s another player who looks like a future college prospect in the making.

6’2″ 280 Testing Results: 5.4 40
Another absolute beast among the group of talented young offensive linemen who attended the combine. Johnson is am explosive line prospect who can dominate on either side of the ball. He first caught my attention as an eighth grader with his play as a defensive tackle. Lonnie is a smooth athlete who makes it look easy with his quickness, power and speed he displays. He tested well and did his best in the 40 at 280-pounds, also showing great ability in his agility and movement. He also showed his strength, tenacity and stamina in getting a lot of reps against top competition. He battles well and is versatile in being able to play every position along the O-line. Johnson is a big time competitor and goes hard every rep.

6’3″ 277 Testing Results: 5.39 40 – 7’6″ broad jump
Yet another athletic freshman offensive line prospect with a bright future coming to the combine from Mid-Mo. Ethan tested well in all the events overall but his speed stood out at 277 pounds. He’s another good young athlete in his class at the O-line position that will only get better. He’s a pretty lean player with a good frame that can continue to get bigger and add weight. He has good feet with a quick kick step in pass pro and showed good agility and movement in battling athletic defensive linemen in one on ones. He’s just scratching the surface of his potential and looked the part of a future college prospect. He saw good action as a freshman and looks like he’ll become an even bigger piece of the Jays offensive line in 2024.
