YORK | The individual position sessions at the Carolinas Coaches Combine on Saturday morning could probably best be described in two words: intriguing and competitive. From the Midlands to the Catawba River Region, we saw some gunslingers and receivers who can make things happen with their athletic ability.

Let's jump into our notes from the session:

[player_tooltip player_id='1149042' first='Brandon' last='Waldrop'] | RB | Powdersville

We watched Waldrop and he showed a good jump step, moving through contact and running with power.

Anton Jones | RB | Irmo

Jones had a good burst of speed moving past the defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012701' first='Maurice' last='Anderson'] | RB | Dutch Fork

Anderson did a good job of showing footwork in his ability to make cuts and make people miss.

[player_tooltip player_id='241044' first='Finley' last='Polk'] | QB | Northwestern

Polk showed an impressive spiral on the ball, putting it on target where the wide receiver can go get the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='809751' first='Ian' last='Grissom'] | QB | Lewisville

Grissom made one throw on a slant where he got it up high enough to where the receiver could adjust to it and go up and get it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1253958' first='Elijah' last='Huggins'] | WR | Powdersville

Huggins made an impressive catch and kept going in stride.

[player_tooltip player_id='1360145' first='Aaron' last='Griffin'] | WR | River Bluff

Griffin (pictured above) made an acrobatic catch on a go route, showing good concentration in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012834' first='Malik' last='Clark'] | WR | Rock Hill

Clark walked away with a large majority of the awards during the session, and the individual period proves why. He ran an excellent out route and kept his toe in on the sideline. He also ran a beautiful sail route for a touchdown.

David Caldwell | RB | Indian Land

While he is listed as a running back, he got in on defense and made a great play to break up a pass.

Zach Graham | WR | Lancaster

Graham did a great job of creating separation from the defender on a slant that was completed for a quick gain.

[player_tooltip player_id='1149050' first='Kaevon' last='Washington'] | WR | Thronwell Charter

Washington made a great catch on a sail route, running right past the defender for a huge gain.

[player_tooltip player_id='836316' first='Matthew' last='McAulay'] | LB | Lexington

McAulay made a great catch in traffic, catching it with his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157988' first='Aakil' last='Brown'] | LB | South Pointe

Brown made a nice interception where he literally ripped it away from the ball carrier.

Jeffery Papin | H-Back / TE | Nation Ford

Papin went up and made an acrobatic grab late in the session.
