Prep Redzone updated the 2025 Kansas Rankings earlier this month. Included in those rankings were an impressive group of wide receivers from Eastern Kansas programs.

Here is a look at five pass-catching prospects who made the rankings and will be looking to climb those rankings with solid senior campaigns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115040' first='Todd' last='Brown'], WR, 5'10”, 155, Tonganoxie

Brown is currently ranked No. 53 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. He has excellent speed and will be a primary target in the Chieftains' offense in 2024. He made 35 catches last season for 669 yards. That was for a team with one of the best running games in the state. He found the end zone four times and can go up high for a ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115039' first='Trevor' last='Garlington'], WR, 6'1”, 160, Blue Valley Northwest

Garlington is a sure-handed wideout currently ranked in the No. 57 slot. The Blue Valley Northwest prospect can line up in the slot or on the outside. He finished with 57 receptions in 10 games during his junior campaign. He gained 670 yards and scored six touchdowns. He is also a solid kickoff return man.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115464' first='Jace' last='Midgett'], WR/DB, 6'2”, 160, Columbus

Midgett is listed as a defensive back in Prep Redzone's player rankings, but he is a dawg on the offensive side as well. The Columbus athlete is currently ranked No. 82 overall. He caught 31 balls as a junior and scored 10 times on receptions. He gained 683 yards and ran solid routes. Midgett finished with two interceptions and 25 tackles in eight games as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='442625' first='Jayden' last='Norman'], WR, 6'1”, 170, Topeka High

Prep Redzone has Norman ranked No. 155 in the class of 2025. He finished his junior season with three touchdowns on a team that struggled to score. His skill set makes him a solid option at defensive back and on special team units. Topeka High will have a new head coach and coaching staff next fall, so it will be interesting to see which side of the ball they use Norman on more.

[player_tooltip player_id='1223957' first='Bryer' last='Finley'], WR, 6'4”, 185, Seaman

Finley is a talented multi-sport athlete. He is listed as a wide receiver in the Prep Redzone rankings, but he can also play quarterback, or defensive back, and might very well be a “basketball-first” prospect. He is currently ranked No. 259 overall, after a junior season in which he made 50 catches for 632 yards and 10 touchdowns. During his junior basketball season, Finley averaged 13.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
