Prep Redzone has the details…
Cam Farley Cam Farley 5'9" | 210 lbs | LB Jasper County | 2026 State GA – Jasper County
He may not be the biggest or tallest linebacker in the area, but Farley was a tackling machine last year for Jasper County. He’s on the shorter side, but Farley plays bigger than his size with a thick, muscular frame. He runs well, can dissect plays before they happen, and knows how to deliver a sound, physical tackle. This productive sophomore lit up the stat sheet last fall as he made an eye-opening 100 tackles, 15 TFLs, and three sacks. He proved to be a reliable run defender who can also take off and rush the quarterback. He gave it is all and always found his way to the football. He plays hard, loves to compete, and will be one of the region’s top returning linebackers for the 2024 season.
Larson Little Larson Little 5'10" | 195 lbs | LB Benedictine | 2026 State GA – Benedictine
One of the top returning sophomore linebackers in Savannah, Little was one of the more productive Cadet defenders last year on a team that won another state title. A smart, instinctive defender who knows how to make a secure tackle, Little is a guy who loves to compete and gives it his best on every down. He plays hard and came to play every week. Just a sophomore, Little made sure everyone knew his name by the end of the year. He played alongside a lot of talented players, and he really held his own all season long. He made at least 8+ tackles in five different games and totaled 100 tackles on the year, along with 7 TFLs, one sack, and one forced fumble. He’s a sophomore linebacker flying under the radar in the Svannah area, but if he continues to work hard and develop this off-season, Little could be bound for big 2024 season in year three.
Max Lasseter – Heard County
A sleeper defender in West Georgia to keep an eye on next fall, Lasseter is a two-way player who plays with an outstanding motor. He plays hard, plays aggressive, and gives it everything he has. As a sophomore last fall, Lasseter played like a veteran and lit up the stat sheet defensively, making 91 tackles with 8 TFLs. He also made four sacks and forced four fumbles. He’s a tough, hard-hitting defender with great instincts and the ability to shed blocks. He battles, and even for a sophomore, he won most battles last year. He made at least 10+ tackles in six games last year and finished the final two games of the season with a combined 15 tackles. He’s a good athlete who can catch passes on offense, but his ability to make a real impact on defense could possibly allow him to see some college interest come his way. The 6-foot-0 205-pound multi-sport star is one of the top overall athletes on the roster who is bound for a big junior season in 2024.
