Yesterday, we released the updated 2025 rankings. As always, the fresh rankings included many new prospects. In Part 1 of a series, here are 10 of the top New Additions:

[player_tooltip player_id='1248670' first='Ethyn' last='Boyd'], Pojoaque Valley: The 6-foot-2, 250-pound Boyd introduced himself to college recruiters with an impressive performance at the Prep Redzone Combine in Grants on April 13. Good hands and feet. He'll anchor the Pojoaque Valley OL in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259400' first='Josiah' last='Campos'], Silver: Campos is a two-year starter at center for the Colts and has helped lead them to the Class 4A championship game in 2022 and the semifinals in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='1257299' first='Ryan' last='Garcia'], Capital: The 2025 O-Line class in New Mexico is LOADED and Garcia has emerged as one of its shining stars. He's become a hot commodity in recruiting with numerous camp invitations, including Northern Arizona, UConn, Davidson and UT Permian Basin just in the last week. Bethel College, Peru State and Minnesota West (JUCO) have offered.

[player_tooltip player_id='1258077' first='Grant' last='Johnson'], Artesia: The 6-foot-0, 200 pound Johnson is one of Artesia's top returning tacklers in 2024. Last season he had over 40 tackles for the Bulldogs. He's very active and has a keen nose for the football. Always seem to be in on the play. Case in point: 3 fumble recoveries in 2023.

Thomas-James Pettus, Volcano Vista: Pettus has emerged this spring as potentially one of the best outside linebackers in the state not named [player_tooltip player_id='611083' first='Mason' last='Posa']. Pettus has been impressive in camps. He's 6-foot-2, 195 pounds and runs the 40 in 4.55 seconds. He had 29 tackles and 3.0 TFL in 2023. He could double those numbers as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259013' first='Aidan' last='Rutley'], Roswell: With a 6-foot-5, 235-pound frame, Rutley will have a large role on the Coyotes' stellar defensive line. In fact, Roswell's D-Line will arguably be the best in the state. Rutley had 30 tackles and 16.0 TFL in 2023, meaning over half of his tackles produced negative yardage.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259081' first='Omar' last='Sanchez'], Centennial: Not only is the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Sanchez a good football player for the Hawks, he's a fantastic all-around athlete. Earlier this week, he tied the school record in the high jump (6'2”). He could play both DB and WR for the Hawks in 2024. Made 45 tackles for the Centennial defense in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='1257343' first='Sajon' last='Thompson'], West Mesa: After a solid junior season at CB for the Mustangs in 2023 (First Team All-District), the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Thompson has been a hit on the recruiting trail this spring. He attended Junior Days at New Mexico, Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M, and has been invited to camps at New Mexico State, Buffalo, UT Permian Basin and others. Definitely one of the top DBs in the Albuquerque Metro Region for 2024.

Caden Tierney, Las Cruces: Tierney, a 6-foot-2 rising senior, splashed onto the scene a season ago and he should be the Bulldawgs' No. 3 receiver this coming season behind [player_tooltip player_id='615455' first='Nate' last='Libby'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1142363' first='Francisco' last='Winnikoff'], giving a Las Cruces a potentially lethal passing attack that will severely test opposing defenses every week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1257335' first='Jack' last='Warble'], Rio Rancho: The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Warble will undoubtedly be one of the top offensive linemen in the Albuquerque Metro Region for 2024, and should be the starting left tackle for the Rams. He has attended Junior Days at New Mexico State and Eastern New Mexico, and been invited to camp by numerous schools, including UT Permian Basin, Drake, North Dakota State, Miami (OH), Gardner-Webb and more.

https://twitter.com/Big74Boyd/status/1780376780680859896

https://twitter.com/RyanGarcia70/status/1756132017287143711

https://twitter.com/Johnson1Grant/status/1751118544958562494

https://twitter.com/ThomasPettus23/status/1764402337332744436

https://twitter.com/therealaidan44/status/1779301978302300507

https://twitter.com/omarsfb9/status/1724124976704364788

https://twitter.com/wmhs_mustangFB/status/1727346476370784634

https://twitter.com/Fb78Warble/status/1774123540234874892
