In just one week, Prep RedZone South Carolina will unveil it's new rankings for the Class of 2025.

It's going to be the biggest update in the site's four years of existence.

All told, more than 100 rising seniors will join the fray. But how did we get to such a huge figure? The answer is all about access, data and, yes, the fact that we've been working on this update since the end of January.

From private offseason events to our partnership with the Carolinas Coaches Combines to scouring the landscape for even more talent, we've accomplished our goal of identifying more and more players who deserve to have a number next to their name in our system.

The following players are among those who will officially move into that category next week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1254097' first='Deandre' last='Baskett'] DL, North Augusta

Edge led the Yellow Jackets in tackles, tackles for loss and sacks last fall en route to earning Region IV-4A Defensive Player of the Year honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249764' first='Jordan' last='Collins'] WR, South Pointe

With his size, Collins is giving a handful of NCAA Division-I schools enough reason to warrant him as either a receiver or tight end at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='986041' first='Tremaine' last='Davis'] DB, Daniel

Three of Davis' six interceptions during his junior season came in the playoffs, with two of them coming in the Class 3A title win over Camden.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249788' first='Connor' last='Gooding'] TE, Gilbert

Gooding has got excellent size and, like Collins, has no issue whatsoever lining up anywhere from next to the tackle to the sideline.

[player_tooltip player_id='1253897' first='Christian' last='Huynh'] OL, Carolina Forest

The Panthers' right tackle is stepping out of the shadow of the team's 2023 Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl selection at left tackle in a hurry.

[player_tooltip player_id='1250948' first='Zoom' last='Jackson'] ATH, Lamar

His nickname isn't by accident, and he's proved time and again that it's a fitting moniker for the Silver Fox do-it-all rising senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249778' first='Jordan' last='Joe'] DB/WR, North Central

Joe has height and length that you can't fake. And while he's a pretty good receiver capable of doing some damage, his skills at safety after right up there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249760' first='Tye' last='Kelly'] DB, Belton-Honea Path

Whether lining up at safety or linebacker, Kelly is a big-hitting defender who might be one of the most overlooked players in the entire state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249843' first='Davion' last='Kinard-Taylor'] DL, West Ashley

Last season, Kinard-Taylor (pictured) put up an eye-popping 19 tackles for loss to go along with 35 total tackles, 10 quarterback hurries, six sacks and a fumble recovery.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249733' first='Onis' last='Konanbanny'] DB, Heathwood Hall

The England native has been in South Carolina for less than a year but has impressed. He's got a bunch of monster offers and will be one of the most recruited players in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249754' first='Josh' last='Merriweather'] DL, Strom Thurmond

Merriweather is everything you want in an edge rusher. From his 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame to his 61 tackles, seven sacks and six tackles for loss, he's got the complete package.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249809' first='Karson' last='Norman'] RB, Abbeville

After topping 1,200 rushing yards last fall, Norman is set up nicely for a huge senior season after Abbeville dropped back down to Class A.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249849' first='Noah' last='Perrin'] K, Greenwood

Perrin is able to able to handle kicking, kickoff and punting duties for Greenwood. All of his figures are solid, and he's going to be in the mix for some all-star consideration.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249821' first='Pac' last='Pitts'] OL, River Bluff

An active tackle who is anything but a statue, Pitts is 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds and one of the focal points for an offense that can get change looks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249747' first='Zach' last='Rogers'] DB, Lewisville

Rogers might be among our favorite “finds” of the offseason. After running him through a full evaluation, he's going to appear relatively high in his first appearance in our list.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249841' first='Garrett' last='Simpson'] OL, Walhalla

Simpson's size (6-foot-6, 310 pounds) is downright laughable for a Class 3A offensive lineman. It's even more ridiculous when you consider that he's often playing center.

[player_tooltip player_id='1149066' first='Josh' last='Sims'] QB, Blacksburg

Sims is a mobile quarterback who is seemingly as good on the run as he is when he's planted in the pocket. He's got what he needs for a huge senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='790770' first='Christian' last='Smith'] OL, Lugoff-Elgin

Smith has blown up in the last few months, and his appearance at the Carolinas Coaches Combine at West Florence hasn't hurt his offseason progress.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249737' first='Wyatt' last='Ward'] LB, JL Mann

An absolute tackling machine, Ward finished his junior season with 155 total stops to go along with 12 tackles for loss and three interceptions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249768' first='Keshon' last='Washington'] TE, Summerville

We've been watching Washington closely for the better part of the last 10 months. He just keeps showing us that his ceiling is very high.
