Victory Christian Feels Good About 2024

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are several ways to look at the 6-6 finish in 2023 for Lakeland Victory Christian.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For head coach <strong>Kendrick Stewart</strong> and his Storm, a state playoff win was certainly a plus before losing to eventual state champion Sarasota Cardinal Mooney. So were wins over Lakeland Kathleen and rival Lakeland Christian.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This team also had their chances in several games, losing by a touchdown twice and by three points in another contest.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While that season-ending loss stung a bit after beating Zephyrhills Christian Academy in the opening round, it served as motivation for this program, heading into the off-season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As spring moves closer, there is plenty of optimism with some key returners and new faces that have come over.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The rising senior class has talent, experience and leadership, which Coach Stewart and the staff will depend on.</p>
