Strawberry Crest Has Unfinished Business

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When Dover Strawberry Crest started the 2023 season with four wins in the first six games, there was a feeling that the Chargers had a legitimate chance to end the season with a state playoff appearance.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>But what happened to head coach <strong>Phillip Prior</strong> and his team over the second half squashed any thought of this team playing well into November.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 1-4 record down the stretch was a disappointment with two key district losses putting an end to the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With that season to think about and ponder what went wrong, this team started to focus on the spring and summer. They knew that the talent coming back learned enough from last season to not only use it as motivation, but also as a learning experience.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>THE RISING SENIORS ARE READY</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the seniors from last year moving on, it will now be up to the rising seniors (2025) to take charge and make sure what happened in 2023 will not repeat itself.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are some quality prospects in the class who have the opportunity to get
