Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, or raw athleticism, these prospects have made a name for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2024 season on the horizon, we're looking players whose stock is on the rise in the State.</em></strong></p>

Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.There are some big-time highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects that should all be getting looks for the next level. <p><strong><em>Mikey Vernon, CB- Jesuit High c/o 27</em></strong></p>

<p><em>Vernon is a really good defensive back prospect out of Jesuit High in the Tampa area. He was a big part of an outstanding defense that helped Tigers go 10-3 in the regular season and into the Regional Finals of the State playoffs. The rising sophomore registered 17 tackles, 1 INT, 2 passes defensed, 1 Blk Punt, 1 Blk FG, and a fumble recovery. Vernon is instinctive in coverage with very light feet, explosive initial movement, shows really good closing burst, and ball skills. </em></p>

<p><em>Williams is a two-sport athlete (Basketball) that has seen his stock rise immensely. On the season he finished with 49 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. He is a relentless competitor with explosive get off, shows good speed and lenght to run down plays. Williams recruitment has taken off and he has received 5 D1 offers since the season ended.</em></p>

<p><em>There's not many positions on the football field that Parks can't play, and he can do it at a high level. Parks played a major role in helping the Seminoles go 10-3 and advance to the regional finals last season. The versatile athlete that passed for 25 yards, rushed for 172 yards, and and finished with 18 receptions for 307 yards and 5 touchdowns! He's also one of the top returning punters in the region! Parks is a swiss-army knife player that could play multiple positions at the next level. His versatility is very evident on film. Flashes good burst with the ball in his hands, is a natural receiver that shows a big catch radius, soft hands and the ability to be a real weapon on the offensive side of the ball. Coaches need to check him out ASAP; he's got a bright future and a lot of upside!</em></p>

<p><strong><em>Tanner Waring WR/DB- Mount Dora High c/o 25</em></strong></p>

<p><em>Waring was a big-time playmaker for Mount Dora last season. He wased uaed all over the field and produced at a high level. He lead the team with 36 receptions for 651 yards, averaging over 18 yards per catch with 6 touchdowns and a long reception of 75 yards. He also had 11 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown. He chipped in on defense with 16 tackles and 2 passes defensed. Waring does a good job tracking the ball in the air, can threaten vertically, but also has the route running ability to run every route. Waring gets it done in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. </em></p>
