South Florida Prospects to Know: Part II

Explosive ball player who plays the game on his feet and never takes a play off. Second Team All-Area. Class of 2025, certainly shows big-time skills and as a leader of a very good defense. @martinrhyne24</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Uryah McCartney - 5'9" 190 lbs. and plays linebacker for West Broward High School and is a member of the 2026 class. Undersized but tough, aggressive, and very productive. Strong at the point of attack, shows quick feet, and a high football IQ. Perfectly suited for the strong safety position. 3.7 GPA. He is a young man who loves to hit and does it often. @uryahmccartney</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Elijah&nbsp;Dewoskin - 5'10" 195 lb. running back from West Broward High in Pembroke Pines, Florida is a strong runner with good vision, strong hands, and great determination. He can do it all: run, block, and catch. Averages 6 yards per carry. Third Team All-County. Class of 2025. 310 lb. bench. Runs a 4.6 and shows the ability to run away from defenders. @elijahdewoskin</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tyler Shattuck - 6'2" 190 lb. quarterback from West Broward is one of the top signal-callers in South Florida. Pocket passer with a nice touch and good arm strength. He reads defense as well and can put the ball on the money just about every time. 3.9 GPA. A very good athlete with a high football IQ. 3.9 GPA rising star. @tyler_shattuck_</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1134192' first='Dylan' last='Pelliccio'] - 6'2" 210 lbs. is another big-time prospect at quarterback for West Broward. Well coached with good size and arm strength. Dylan is an all around athlete who can find the open receiver and also run himself out of trouble. Plays for one of the top offenses in South Florida. 3.3 GPA. 295 bench. @dpelliccio</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1023327' first='Tristan' last='Lewis'] - 6'3" 230 lbs. from West Broward is an up-and-coming defensive lineman with quick hands and feet, great determination, can win the leverage battle, and stuff everything up the middle. Runs well laterally and shows good instincts. Has the frame to wait 270. 3.5 GPA class of 2025 and an up-and-comer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Walter "Deuce" Olden - 5'9" 160 West Broward is a super swift wide receiver with 4.4 speed, soft hands, and runs precise routes. One of the more dangerous offensive weapons and his conference. Class of 2026, he shows remarkable separation speed after the catch.
