Here’s a look at the six prospects in the top 25 who made the biggest leaps to their new positions on the list.
No. 10 Jasper Parker Jasper Parker 6'1" | 185 lbs | RB Archbishop Shaw | 2025 State LA — 6-1, 185 RB — Archbishop Shaw
The Eagles’ standout burst his way up Louisiana’s loaded 2025 running back rankings with a breakout junior season in which both his power, as one of the state’s bigger backs, and breakaway 4.5-second 40-yard speed were on display. Parker has the size and strength to grind out tough yardage, but hits his running lanes with a purpose and can be swiftly off through the second level in a blink when given an opening.
No. 11 Aidan Anding Aidan Anding 5'11" | 165 lbs | DB Ruston | 2025 State LA — 5-11, 165 DB — Ruston
An all-state junior campaign helped the Bearcats win their first state championship since 1990, but also showed the hyper-athletic basketball and track standout’s sky-high football potential as one of the best defensive backs in not only the state, but the country. Anding is quick, fluid and springy and showed impressive instincts, timing and toughness in his first season of football, including Ruston’s matchups against several of the state’s top playmakers and college prospects along the way in which he more than held his own.
No. 12 Devon Oliver Devon Oliver 6'3" | 275 lbs | DL Parkway | 2025 State LA — 6-3, 275 DL — Parkway
The Panthers’ big defensive tackle powered his way into the top tier of Louisiana’s increasingly intriguing 2025 class in the position group. Oliver is a strong, stout body capable of plugging the interior, stuffing the run and eating double teams, but also the athleticism to get into the backfield and make disruptive plays behind the lines, moving well at his size and playing with a good motor.
No. 17 J.T. Lindsey J.T. Lindsey 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Alexandria | 2025 State LA — 5-11, 180 RB — Alexandria
Another standout running back zipping up the rankings of the premier position group in Louisiana’s 2025 class, Lindsey is among the fastest of the bunch. The Trojans’ bellcow in the backfield has run 4.48-second 40-yard and 10.85-second 100-meter dashes as examples of that speed, but also shows some patience at times allowing his blocks to set up and has good size and balance that help him work through and bounce off contact.
No. 18 Landon Hammond Landon Hammond 6'2" | 160 lbs | DB Opelousas | 2025 State LA — 6-2, 160 DB — Opelousas
Hammond debuted last summer in the top 100 and during the course of his junior year has become one of Louisiana’s most highly-regarded and sought-after defensive back prospects by college coaches coast to coast. The state champion Tigers’ cornerback has a long, lean frame, quick feet and boasts 4.47-second 40-yard speed and, despite his thin build, is wiry-strong and willing to play physically when called upon.
No. 21 Kyle Johnson Kyle Johnson 6'0" | 170 lbs | ATH Bunkie | 2025 State LA — 6-0, 170 ATH — Bunkie
Lindsey’s consistent track rival early this spring has proven himself one of Louisiana’s top defensive back prospects with his fluid hips, discipline and ball skills to go with his high-end speed. Like Anding, Johnson is a notable three-sport athlete fresh off a strong basketball season. And the next few months appear poised to be a whirlwind with an impressive list of college programs having offered, potentially stopping through Bunkie this spring and hoping to see Johnson at camps this summer.
