In this week's recruiting update, we look at visits, camps, and commitments that have occurred over the past few days. He mixes his route running with his speed to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Johnson does a great job of catching everything thrown in his direction. Earlier in the week, Johnson picked up an invitation to the Kent State Mega Camp taking place in June. Johnson is a player to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1155131' first='TJ' last='Hodges']-Running Back-Marked Tree-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1155131' first='TJ' last='Hodges'] is a running back that is building plenty of recruiting momentum. He is a running back that has had a tremendous offseason. Hodges has opened plenty of eyes this offseason with his ability to find the proper rushing lanes and catch the ball out of the backfield. Hodges is the type of running back that rarely has to come off of the field. On Saturday, Hodges earned a scholarship offer from the USC Trojans. He is a player to watch over the next couple of seasons for Marked Tree.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='339641' first='Keland' last='Mills']-Quarterback-West Memphis-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past few years, [player_tooltip player_id='339641' first='Keland' last='Mills'] has been a signal caller that can hurt you with his arm as well as his legs. Mills does an impressive job of extending the play and keeping his eyes down the field. He throws an accurate football and can fit the ball into some tight windows. Last week, the talented West Memphis signal caller committed to Bluefield State University. He is a player with the potential to do big things on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='207186' first='Evan' last='Goodwin']-Offensive Line-Pulaski Academy-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='207186' first='Evan' last='Goodwin'] is a versatile offensive lineman that can play all along the offensive line for the Bruins. The recruiting momentum that Goodwin is starting to build is impressive. Goodwin uses his mix of power and technique well to punish opposing defenders. Earlier in the week, Goodwin earned a scholarship offer from the Wisconsin Badgers. Goodwin is an offensive lineman that is going to start racking up the scholarship offers over the next couple of months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1195384' first='Jakore' last='Smith']-Linebacker-Little Rock Parkview-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past couple of seasons, Little Rock Parkview has had no problem producing talented prospects. [player_tooltip player_id='1195384' first='Jakore' last='Smith'] is a prospect at the linebacker position that can hurt opposing offenses in pass coverage, stopping the run, or pressuring the quarterback. Smith does a great job of getting off of blocks and hauling down the ball carrier. Later next week, Smith will be paying a visit to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Smith is a major target that plenty of teams are pursuing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
