<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In preparation for their upcoming season, practice sessions have intensified. Last week, the established leaders of the Midwest Bucks made their presence known and took charge, issuing a challenge to their teammates: Rise to the occasion. And rise they did. On a brisk Sunday morning, the underclassmen for the Bucks led the charge, showing blazing speed and true raw talent. The future for the Bucks is in good shape. Today, we will discuss the rising stars who answered the call from the team leaders last week. Led by the Pekin Dragons, this group of WRs is shifty and did not shy away from tough competition. The Midwest Bucks Defense has no slackers; the phrase "Iron sharpens Iron" echoed throughout the practice session. Every catch the WRs made on Sunday was earned!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1160907"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Dawson has a commanding presence on the field; he showcased his dominance as a big-bodied receiver during Sunday's session. He demonstrated next-level route-running ability, consistently beating tight man coverage and gaining separation with each rep. What truly set Dawson apart was his ability to make catches in contested situations; his size, strength, and competitive spirit shone the brightest. Time and again, he rose above defenders, hauling in catches with ease. His physicality and determination to excel earned him the status of performer of the day.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65ef49b28c778"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/18152686/655a7c47344a3105306baf86' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65ef49b28c888"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":1206933,"_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Bobby Martin","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"5'9u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"160","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2410","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Pekin Highschool","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"Midwest Bucks","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Throughout practice, Bobby displayed a remarkable knack for finding open space in zone coverage over the middle, fearless in the face of oncoming DBs. Despite his size, Bobby's ability to haul in catches with ease over taller defenders was impressive. Standing at 5'9u0022, Bobby jumped over a 6'1u0022 defender to snag a ball in the 1-on-1 sessions, leaving coaches and teammates speechless. As a freshman Dylan is running a 4.48 40 time. As an 8th grader he won the IESA State Track Title by himself. Yes he was the only one from his school and competed and won the whole thing. That in itself is a testament to his true athleticism. On Sunday he showcased his skills both offensively and defensively, leaving me in awe. It's as if he's operating with a real life cheat code, effortlessly passing defenders on every go route. Dylan's blend of speed and skill is a coach's dream, and he's poised to dominate this 7 on 7 season.
