Now at Avon Old Farms, a top 50 2025 prospect formerly out of The Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts. Currently holds one offer out of UMass, received back in November of last year. Shane Olson Shane Olson 6’1″ | 175 lbs | DB Avon Old | 2026 NewE doesn’t appear to have tape from last Fall, with his most recent film coming after his sophomore campaign at TRS. Heard awesome things about his testing numbers, 10’0 broads, sub 4.6 40 times, unsure if verified but I wouldn’t be surprised to find out the kid is an excellent combine tester considering his special sophomore tape. Should fit in well in the AOF secondary.

Formerly out of St. Xavier HS in Louisville, Kentucky. Played Kentucky 6A ball, 24 scores in 12 games. Formerly committed to Ohio State LAX. Holds football scholarships out of New Mexico State, UT Martin, Cornell, and Bucknell. Got a chance to plug in his five-minute tape from last Fall, love what I see. Comfortable working out of ten personnel sets, desirable in terms of pre-throw package/mechs. Stats say this is a prospect who brings duality to the position, yet the first reps on tape showcase Havill’s ability to work a proper dropback, climb the pocket, as well as leave the pocket to work different angles, all while keeping his eyes downfield. Fantastic base, clean release, a release he follows into the sheath consistently. Strong front leg married with real hip torque has him launching balls 40-45 yards with ease. Desirable build, one coaches would likely drool over. Rest of his tape sprinkles in 11 and 12 personnel, prior system wasn’t strictly reliant on pushing the ball downfield. A threat to score with his arm and legs inside of ten yards. Hits a myriad of passing concepts. I imagine the move to AOF could broaden his recruiting choices, FCS teams out of New England are likely to hound after his abilities after a year of developing under the new staff.

Had a chance to see him work in person against Imhotep in the state finals. Received a PWO out of West Virginia shortly after, this notion sparked his recruitment, gaining offers from Army WP, Navy, Valpo, Lehigh, and Robert Morris. Heres to his recruitment keeping momentum after his move to Avon Old Farms. Excited to see that the young man might’ve put on a whopping 30 pounds since November. 230 to 260 is a drastic improvement. Now a 2025, Recker is likely to transition to OL full-time at 260, whereas a playing weight of 230 would likely keep him in an EDGE/DE role similar to the one he had at Peters Township. Knowing how well OL have developed out of this AOF program in recent years, it’s difficult to not be excited about the young man’s potential.

His skill set, size, and responsibilities all rival Shane Olson Shane Olson 6’1″ | 175 lbs | DB Avon Old | 2026 NewE ‘s of course, both recently ranking inside the top five at their positions. Now at Avon Old Farms, formerly out of The Rivers School, the Winged Beavers have added two top-five DBs, both of which would likely rank high among 2026 classmates once they are moved. I’ve been fond of Olson’s game for some time, I got the chance to take a peek at his most recent tape posted just over a month ago. Olson was injured, which explains his relatively short tape, yet the prospect didn’t allow a catch in the two-and-a-half games played. TRS deployed many sets without a deep safety, rather having Olson flow down to the slot, outside slot against trip sets. Absurd confidence to station this ballhawk closer to the LOS. You can trust Olson to both help in run support and track the opposing team’s primary wideout. The competition level is going to skyrocket, Olson is likely to handle it well. Easily could have secured three/four interceptions throughout his junior season derailed by injury.

Formerly out of Northfield HS in Denver, Colorado, going to make the long trek up to Connecticut. Unoffered to my knowledge, unranked over at Prep Redzone CO, I’m out of the loop on all things recruiting out West, so I won’t pretend to know what the landscape is like out there in terms of recruiting and rankings, or lack thereof. Two-way trench player, interested in seeing him work on May 13th if he’s already made the trip up by that time, want to know if AOF likes him at DL or OL. Productive on both sides of the football, ton of TFLs, and a ton of tone-setting finishes when stationed at LOG. Wouldn’t be surprised to see if he puts on weight like Recker and earns real-time at either guard position. Great pick-up either way.

Now a Winged Beaver, formerly out of Keswick, Ontario. AOF dipping into an impressive international pool up North, they land an equally massive lineman prospect they can groom and develop to their liking for years to come. Now a 2027 in the States, Samuels is still considered an underclass, AOF will have him for another three seasons. Samuels’ Hudl links to his tape from last Fall currently lead to nowhere, so I’m out of the loop as far as his current skill set. I imagine Samuels shown enough promise for AOF to accept him. I hope to get the chance to see him work in two months once I make the trip to New England from Philadelphia.
