The game featured some of the top ’27 talent in the Metro Atlanta Area, with some ’28s thrown in. Every player in the competition showed the potential to play at the next level but below are some of the top OL/DL that caught my eye during the practice competition and the game.
2027 6’4 270 OT Sequoyah
Craig was the talk of weekend across the OL in a game that featured some of the most well known ’27 OL in the Area. Great size at 6’4 270 with a strong base. You can see he works on his craft off the field. Good hand placement and footwork and showed Saturday that he has the strength to handle bigger Defensive linemen. We look forward to seeing how this guy develops over the next 3 seasons against some of the toughest high level competition during his high school career. Obvious next level potential with a high ceiling.

2027 6’6.5 280 OL Gainesville
Naturally gifted with size. Has a 83.5 wing span at 6’6 and has not reached his full growth potential yet. Got varsity playing at one of the top 6A programs in the State last season. Raw right now but moves well and shows good flexibility at his size. Good off the field work ethic both in the weight room and the classroom, sporting a 4.1 GPA. After 3 more years to develop in the Red Elephant strength and conditioning program this kid could have all the stars he wants. P4 Guy IMO.
2027 6’6 315 Gainesville
Another big bodied Gainesville youngster. Another kid that shows raw potential but is blessed with great size. Did a good job in the 1v1 competition getting off the ball quick as was able to handle his opponents heads up. Another kid I think is going to benefit greatly from the outstanding strength and conditioning program at Gainesville High. Shows good flexibility for his size and gets after it in the weight room. P4 potential.
2027 6’4 235 OT Jackson Co
Tyler was about 40 pounds lighter than some of the guys he matched up against this weekend but showed good technique and used his quickness to win most of the 1v1’s. Still developing physically and has a high season. Has the height and athleticism to play TE at some point depending on how his development progresses. Was selected as a Top 10 lineman by the coaching staff at the conclusion of the 1v1 competition. Great upside.
Adriel Rojas
2027 6’4 200 DE North Forsyth
Rojas physically looks the part when he step off the bus. Tall filled out kid with a great leg base. Aggressive off the end with good quickness. Physical kid that out strength bigger offensive linemen. Saw some varsity action last season on special team and on the DL. Great potential and if he keeps developing in the weight room the he could be a D1 target in a few years.
