Tonight we choose New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia for our player tape evaluations. This list has plenty of hidden gems that we are getting our first looks of as well as plenty of prospects with position flexibility for the next-level. I believe each of them has a great shot to play at the next level for sure.
New Brunswick:
Ethan St Pierre Ethan St Pierre CAD , LB, Fredricton (2026) Twitter
The burst off the snap along with the longevity of the motor that Ethan showed off was the first pop I got on tape en-route to smashing the ball carrier with great physicality. The streaking athleticism Ethan sets up with pre-snap into the heart of the A-gap shows off a run-stopping middle linebacker with precise range. He shows off some position flexibility as well for the linebacker position as well. The vision this young man has does the justice on tape and despite him being under the threshold for his size, this is certainly just a 2026 prospect that has some time to grow in the weight room at 5’9 210 that I would go outside the threshold for as his tape tells the tale.
Will Warman Will Warman 6'5" | 230 lbs | DL Clarkson Football North | 2026 CAD , DL, Kennebecasis Valley (2025) Twitter
A defensive end prospect out of New Brunswick that impresses me with his fluid athletic movement is Will Warman Will Warman 6'5" | 230 lbs | DL Clarkson Football North | 2026 CAD who at 6’5 265 is a force to be reckoned with. Will also impressed on tape with his twitch with his lower body changed direction showing sound pursuit angles to the ball carrier. Will shows off quick rotational hands with his shedding ability as the downhill angle with his pad-level. Will is more under the radar than he should be in the 2025 class as one too add to our 2025 rankings from New Brunswick.
Saskatchewan:
Owen Sletten, ATH, Swift Current (2026) Twitter
Owen is another 2026 in Session II of our 3-2 film room out of Swift Current that at a growing 6’0 160 pounds shows off good efficiency as a route-runner that has some smooth athletic traits at his disposal. He impresses me with his re-creation skills within his routes as he shows off an effective trigger of speed adjustment to outrun the secondary deep in his routes. He shows off a ATH prospect that does his damage in the most crucial areas on intermediate and deep routes. A 2026 prospect I am excited to watch develop over the coming years.
Nick Cook, OL, Bishop James Mahoney (2025) Twitter
Nicholas is a 2025 left guard-center prospect that impressed me with his lateral movement which is pull-blocking and shows off a well-versed punch that can do it quickly and one can pin in his blocks on an angle. He also shows impressive instinctive speed with his hands as he constantly makes quick work as an offensive linemen that can grow his foot speed, but shows effective run-blocking into the second level of the field. I think with his position flexibility, the best fit for him lies at center as far as the next-level at 6’0 290 pounds but certainly has a college football future. Also a city champion in wrestling which I love to see.
British Columbia:
Logan Rubel, TE/WR, Westsyde Secondary (2025) Twitter
At 6’5 235 pounds Logan has the body type likely at the next-level as a tight end, but his athleticism seals more like an athletic specimen at wide receiver. He shows off every bit of his long catch radius that you would expect with his long arms as well. I am most impressed on tape with his effectiveness in the open field, as he creates plenty of mismatches out there especially getting his yards after contact. The length of Logan’s striding ability I believe shows off more fluid speed than the tape will show you, as I think a live evaluation with testing numbers would do his speed the justice. Would also like to see more tape on him in run-blocking and pass-blocking situations, however this young man should be an early offer in the 2025 class to certainly play on Saturdays.
Finn Kevany, QB, Langley Secondary (2025) Twitter
For our first quarterback in Session II, we head to Langley, British Columbia and take a look at big-armed 2025 prospect Finn Kevany. The precision and touch that Finn shows off with his deep-ball arm strength shows off an excellent first look on tape. The smooth balance that Finn shows in the pocket with his footwork and well-seen poise shows great awareness from my eyes. He also has a quick release and on intermediate routes his ball drops flawlessly in the bucket of his wide receivers. Good size at 6’2 170 with room to grow in the weight room between this offseason and the 2024 season. Will be one I would like to track at camps this summer.
