(QB) Tillman Martin (STFFA)
– Martin is a tall pocket passer with a strong right arm and the ability to place the ball into tight windows. He showed those abilities on multiple occasions through the Music City Mayhem 7v7 tournament on Saturday afternoon. What I liked most about Martin was his confidence and ability to throw the ball accurately on a consistent basis. It will be interesting to watch this guy further during bracket play on Sunday and see how far he can take his STFFA team.

‘26 (QB) Femi Babalola Femi Babalola 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Ravenwood | 2026 State TN (TN Showtime)
– Sporting great size with a cannon right arm, Babalola was quite impressive on Day 1, showing off that big arm along with confidence and serious zip. This Ravenwood signal caller displayed plenty of talent on Saturday afternoon, showing me and other scouts why he is a Top 10 quarterback for the #TN2026 class. Tons of talent resides inside the right arm of Babalola. He needs more development and work but the upside is certainly there to reach the big stage of college football.

(RB) Jonmikael Crudup Jonmikael Crudup 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Mt. Juliet | 2025 State TN (Mid-TN Wolfpack Blue)
– A multi talented back with size and an agile lower base, Crudup stood out big time in the Boro on Saturday where he continued to develop his receiving skills and make himself more appealing to collegiate coaches. It wasn’t just the offensive side of the ball where Crudup stood out but he also had a strong day on defense as well, displaying solid recognition and coverage skills. This Mt. Juliet is an excellent prospect due to everything that he brings to the field and will be a key contributor in his team’s chances at advancing on Sunday.

‘26 (RB) T.J. Brown (AEI)
– Coming out of Arkansas to compete at the Music City Mayhem, Brown was impressive on both sides of the ball for his AEI team but it was his work on offense that impressed me the most. Well built physically with broad shoulders and long arms, Brown displayed excellent hands on Saturday along with some sudden movements and good route running. This rising junior has the physical build and athletic skill set to entice plenty of college coaches across the land, so it will be interesting to see how he progresses over the coming years.

‘26 (RB) Robert Bailey Robert Bailey 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Shelbyville Central | 2026 TN (BTA)
– Running on both sides for his BTA squad, Bailey showed some impressive moments playing defensive back, which pushed his athletic stock further for me over on offense where his future resides on the collegiate level. Well built physically, standing about 6 ‘0 tall, Bailey looks the part of a college back with the ability to find the open field due to his speed. His work at defensive back was outstanding on Saturday, showing quick feet and good lower base agility. He pulled off several catches on offense as well. Bailey already holds an offer from Eastern Ky but I expect many others to join the mix over the coming months.

‘24 (WR) Max Gainey (502 7v7)
– The lone current senior to make this list is this Kentucky based wideout who hauled in several touchdown receptions on Saturday, showing the abilities to play inside the college game. Gainey is a smaller pass catcher, standing about 5 ‘9 but he plays much bigger with a fearless attitude and some tremendous hands. The 502 receiver was also a strong deep threat that got behind defenders most of the day. I don’t know what his recruitment looks like or his grades but Gainey can play and provide a good option in the slot on the next level.

(WR) Brayden Waller Brayden Waller 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR TCA | 2025 State TN (TN Pride)
– College coaches better start taking a deeper look at this West TN wideout because Waller has the size, skill set and feel for the game that translates well to the next level. This guy was very impressive on the 1st day of action at the Music City Mayhem, displaying a variety of skills from his great hands, route running and ability to catch the ball in traffic. Waller stands 6’3 while sporting a nice frame that has already taken on more weight and could take some more. I really like this prospect and his upside for the college level, so it’s all about getting those coaches involved and seeing the potential like I do.

(WR) Mitrell Lewis (AEI)
– Long and tall with a wide radius and a great frame, Lewis was one more impressive receiver prospects in attendance on Day one of the Music City Mayhem. Coming out of Arkansas, Lewis has the look of a college guy and played like it on Saturday. Multiple occasions throughout the day, Lewis used his big body to work through defenders while being able to find soft spots within the defense to haul in catches. His physicality and soft hands were game changers that several defensive backs had a hard time dealing with. Keep an eye out for this Arkansas based wideout that could see his stock soar over the coming months.

(WR/TE) Wils Jackson Wils Jackson 6'5" | 195 lbs | TE Franklin | 2025 TN (Mid-TN Wolfpack Gold)
– This 6’5 wideout/tight end was receiving some serious buzz from other coaches and scouts on Saturday and he backed it up when it came time to play. Jackson is an impressive looking young man with tremendous size, a great frame with long arms and big hands that translate well to the college game. He used those physical traits and abilities throughout the day, bringing in several receptions, including a deep TD catch in the back of the end zone that was very impressive. For several weeks now, Jackson has been gaining steam and he continued that during action on Day One and I expect it to continue during bracket play.

‘26 (TE) Marshall Smith, Jr (TN Select)
– Smith, Jr is someone I will need to look harder at going forward as I’m not sure if he is a tight end or defensive end on the next level but on Saturday, he showed flashes of being able to stay on offense in college. This Mississippi native is a big boy that moves well for his size along with good hands and the ability to use his body to get open. For Smith, Jr to stay at tight end on the next level, he will need to keep developing his body while increasing his explosive lower base but I can certainly see the upside to remain on offense. I will watch this big man much further on Sunday to gain a better scouting eye on him to see where exactly fits on the collegiate level.

(LB) J.C. Haynes J.C. Haynes 6'5" | 225 lbs | DL Riverdale | 2025 TN (TN Select)
– This Mid-Tennessee is destined in college for defensive end, edge linebacker but Haynes is working hard this off-season to develop his athleticism and ability to play in space. On Saturday at the Music City Mayhem, Haynes did just that by showing good skills in coverage while using his length to make problems on his opponents. He still has a lot of work to do inside the weight room and on the field with his overall skill set but the potential is definitely there with this long and tall edge defender.

‘26 (DB) ADarien Davis ADarien Davis 6'0" | 165 lbs | DB Stewarts Creek | 2026 TN (Mid-TN Wolfpack Blue)
– Saturday at the Music City Mayhem 7v7 tournament was some of the best work I’ve seen yet out of this Mid-Tennessee junior defensive back and I expect his strong work to continue on Sunday. Davis is a cover corner on the outside that locked down his man all day long. Using his height and length along with his high football IQ, Davis displayed excellent coverage abilities along with strong instincts throughout the day that landed him on this “Top Performers” list. Potential is dripping out of this MTWP defender as Davis has the physical size and traits along with strong mental awareness to reach the college game and excel on that level one day.
