Music City Mayhem – 18U’s Elite Receivers

We had a great weekend of football and saw so many players at all levels making plays both days. Congratulations to our champions of the tournament! 502 7v7 out of Kentucky had a perfect weekend, capped off with the 18U championship. Slaughter House Elite is taking the 15U and 14U championships back to South Carolina. Legacy U won a defensive battle to take the 12U championship back to Ohio and NPA Green got the day started by winning the 10U championship.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We will have a ton of content over the next few days breaking down the action from the tournament. All three of these guys should be playing on Saturday in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>David Aboya - 2026 - YOG Florida</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Out of the three wide receiver prospects on this breakdown, 2026 standout David Aboya was the one that was somewhat unknown coming into this weekend. But it didn't take long for Aboya to prove that he belongs at this level. The standout from Florida immediately caught our attention on Saturday when he was dominant against defenders in one on one situations. His size and leaping ability alone made him a match-up nightmare for opponents. And after doing a little digging, it looks like Aboya is having a breakout offseason and quickly becoming a wide receiver prospect to know down in Florida's 2026 class. He's definitely going to be a name to watch this spring and summer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='468365' first='Mitrell' last='Lewis'] - 2025 - Arkansas Elite</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2025 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='468365' first='Mitrell' last='Lewis'] was one prospect that we put the spotlight on prior to the tournament as one to watch at the wide receiver position. This is where we say we told you so. On Saturday, Lewis immediately showed why he was one of the top wide receivers in attendance when he went up in a jump ball situation and came down with the football. And just like we mentioned before the tournament, Lewis and his long frame made him a match-up nightmare for opposing defenses on Saturday and Sunday. While Arkansas Elite didn't have as much team success as some of the other 18U programs, Lewis still shined bright and they had a few other players that stood out throughout the two days. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='466266' first='Radarious' last='Jackson'] - 2025 - Tennessee Select</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And finally we're looking at 2025 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='466266' first='Radarious' last='Jackson'] from the home state team, Tennessee Select. One of our other writers watched them on Saturday and Jackson immediately caught his eye and then you look at the growing offer list and realize that Jackson is one of the hottest 2025 prospects in Tennessee right now. And the play on the field backs up the attention that he has received off it. I got a chance to watch Jackson on Sunday during bracket play and he lived up to the hype that began on Saturday. Jackson is a big body receiver that can move incredibly well, has sure hands and runs good routes. He obviously impresses in jump ball situations but also made some tough catches over the middle. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
