Continue ReadingPrep Redzone Louisiana will release its new 2025 rankings this week, followed by 2026 updates and the first 2027 rankings.
Leading up to the complete, 250-player list, we will count down the top 50 in more detail.
And make sure to check back following the release for additional features and notes on the 2025 cohort, including looks at debuts, stock-risers and the loaded running back, defensive line and defensive back groups.
10. Jasper Parker Jasper Parker 6'1" | 185 lbs | RB Archbishop Shaw | 2025 State LA — 6-1, 185 RB — Archbishop Shaw
By far the biggest stock riser in the top 10, the Eagles’ running back earned a top-100 spot this summer after standing out as a big, physical back during a spring practice visit and makes a huge leap after a breakout junior campaign with more than 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns on which he showed not only his power, but balance and 4.5-second 40-yard speed when hitting some open field for long runs. His emergence — including a long list of top offers from around the country — further bolsters Louisiana’s loaded crop of running backs.
9. Tre Fuller Tre Fuller 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB Captain Shreve | 2025 State LA — 6-2, 180 DB — Captain Shreve
Fuller has been a mainstay in the top 10 throughout his high school career. The tall, lean safety covers a ton of ground on the back end of the defense and seems to be in consistent position to make plays on the ball with his long frame, smooth speed, intelligence and anticipation. Memphis and UTSA have been among his most recent offers, joining a long list that has included SMU, Houston, Louisiana Tech, Louisville, Colorado, Florida State among other notables.
8. Corey Amos Corey Amos 6'3" | 205 lbs | LB Opelousas | 2025 State LA — 6-3, 205 LB — Opelousas
The long, explosive edge rusher was among the leading playmakers for a Tigers squad that won its first state championship game in program history. Amos is at his best when he’s able to play aggressively with his quickness to the backfield and hard-hitting helping highlight that Opelousas run. But he has also looked comfortable and confident dropping back into coverage. Amos committed last month to Ole Miss.
7. Devin Harper Devin Harper 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL Calvary Baptist | 2025 State LA — 6-5, 295 OL — Calvary Baptist
The powerful and tenacious blocker is Louisiana’s top-ranked 2025 lineman as the class prepares for its final high school season. The LSU commit is quick off the line and plays through the whistle, quickly putting defenders on their heels and driving them backwards in dominant fashion when he’s at his best. Harper transferred this winter from Class 5A Captain Shreve to Class 2A Calvary Baptist, where he figures to see his heaviest work in pass protection yet.
6. Corey Adams Jr. Corey Adams Jr. 6'4" | 240 lbs | DL Edna Karr | 2025 State LA — 6-4, 240 DL — Edna Karr
Another of the stock-risers in the latest update, the Edna Karr standout moves into the top 10. Adams has one of the longest frames of Louisiana’s increasingly deep defensive line class and plays well off the edge or working inside with his strong frame and quick, active hands. His offer list has exploded with LSU, USC, Oregon and Texas A&M among some of the notables.
5. TaRon Francis TaRon Francis 6'1" | 190 lbs | WR Edna Karr | 2025 State LA — 6-1, 190 WR — Edna Karr
The LSU commit has lived in the thick of the top 10 in every set of Prep Redzone Louisiana rankings for the 2025 class the past two years. This fall he caught 49 passes for 929 yards and nine touchdowns and returned five kickoffs for 283 yards and three more scores. The numbers speak to his explosive big-play ability with the ball in his hands, but his “ManChild” is a well-rounded receiver with the ability to make tough catches through contact or up over defenders and a willingness to block on the outside.
4. Keylan Moses Keylan Moses 6'2" | 215 lbs | ATH University Lab | 2025 State LA — 6-2, 215 ATH — University Lab
Moses has been a model of consistency as one of the elite playmakers and high-profile faces of the class since even before beginning high school. Even as opponents worked to avoid him, he racked up 69 tackles this fall, including 20 for loss as he consistently roared into opposing backfields for disruptive plays. He also rushed for more than 300 yards and six touchdowns on offense.
3. Jaboree Antoine Jaboree Antoine 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB Westgate | 2025 State LA — 6-2, 180 DB — Westgate
The Tigers’ star recovered well from an injury during this fall to return to action during the playoffs, then became one of Louisiana’s biggest recruiting developments this winter with his commitment at the end of January to LSU and once-again cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond. Antoine is a tall, physical athlete with speed and ball skills that have made him a dynamic playmaker on both sides for Westgate.
2. James Simon James Simon 6'0" | 200 lbs | RB Calvary Baptist | 2025 State LA — 6-0, 200 RB — Calvary Baptist
Simon has been a consistent top-10 prospect in the rankings — and a consistent riser, climbing to No. 4 entering junior season and now No. 2 after his 1,600-yard, 16-touchdown campaign. The LSU target is one of the bigger and more well-rounded backs in the state’s loaded class, a violent runner with impressive balance, an explosive burst in the open field and an advanced receiving skillset for a high school back.
1. Harlem Berry Harlem Berry 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB St. Martin's | 2025 State LA — 5-11, 175 RB — St. Martin’s Episcopal
Louisiana’s top-ranked prospect added another 2,000 rushing yards — and impactful all-around three-phase performance — to his prolific career. Berry, an LSU commit this winter, is another of the bigger backs in the class, but with quick feet and all-around elusiveness to shake past defenders and open up his high-end track speed. He also caught 20 passes this fall for 401 yards and another seven scores and returned two punts and one interception for touchdowns.
