It’s Year Round For Newberry Football

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><br></strong>After losing to eventual 1R state champion Hawthorne in the playoffs, veteran head coach <strong>Ed Johnson </strong>and his Newberry football team headed back to work.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While there are many programs throughout the state of Florida that puts in the work year-round, Newberry goes one step further.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>No matter what event it may be, you will find prospects from this program attending and many times singled out as being the best.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This has become a program – even before last season's 9-3 campaign – that attacks the off-season with as much confidence as any that lines up throughout the state.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In addition to competing in camps, combines and 7-on-7 events, this is a team that boasts well over a 3.0 grade point average in the classroom, which expands the recruiting possibilities even further.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As they head toward the spring, the focus is on this rising senior (2025) class that has been together for three years.
