Austin sees the field well, he understands how to throw his receivers open and he has the arm talent to fit the football into small passing windows. When he breaks contain on the run, he has the speed to make plays with his legs and he turns into a running back in the open field. His junior season he put up phenomenal numbers, totaling 3,700 all-purpose yards with over 3,100 passing yards, rushing for more than 600 yards and accounting for 46 touchdowns. Austin has seen his profile raise on the recruiting trail, with offers from ULM, Navy, Penn, UTEP, Marshall and North Texas among the double digit list of schools who are seeking him out to play at the next level. Kaleb has a stout, athletic frame with speed and elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field as a runner. He is the total package, with a combination of elite passing skills and running ability that makes him an offensive weapon. He lead the Mustangs back to a state title appearance in 2023, passing for 3,665  yards. with 40 passing touchdowns, with a 72% completion rate, while rushing for 579 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.
