Following the breakdown of some explosive 2028 wide receivers, here’s my list of five Kentucky 2028s that should be on your radar.
Establishing himself under center last year was Will Adams Will Adams 6’0″ | 165 lbs | QB Northern Pulaski | 2028 KY , a quarterback at Northern Pulaski Middle School. What stands out about Adams is his outstanding arm strength and ability to quickly overwhelm the defense with his precison and pin-point accurate passing game. I also like Adams due to his deceptive footwork, breakaway speed and quick decision-making, proving he can also run the ball.

Making a considerable difference on the ground was Chris Lucas Chris Lucas RB Woodford County | 2028 KY , a running back at Woodford County Middle School. What impresses me about Lucas is his quick execution and ability to blast past the defense in the pocket, breaking tackles en route to the backfield. I also like how Lucas can find openings to slip into the open field as well as his ability to use bursts of speed to create seperation on the run.
I am additionally impressed with Noah Beasley Noah Beasley 6’4″ | 170 lbs | TE Anderson County | 2028 KY , a tight end at Anderson County High School. In addition to great breakaway speed and versatility down the stretch, what stands out about Beasley is his ability to haul in the long pass in physical coverage. I also like how Beasley can stun the defense with his strength and wingspan, showcasing his ability to elevate off the ground for the touchdown pass.
Also proving his skill set last season was Kaiden Gibson Kaiden Gibson 5’6″ | 130 lbs | RB Perry County Central | 2028 KY , a running back at Perry County Central Middle School. Gibson makes a difference due to his electric speed off the snap as well as his efficiency in the pocket. I also like how Gibson can use his footwork to maneuver the pocket and breach into enemy territory from along the edge. Gibson also proved his ability to break tackles on his way to the house.

Another 8th grade prospect to catch my attention was Thomas Sizemore Thomas Sizemore 6’0″ | 170 lbs | LB Lexington Christian Academy | 2028 KY , a linebacker at Lexington Christian Academy. On top of excellent footwork and electric speed, what I like about Sizemore is his multi-faceted playstyle and ability to contain the offense with his aggression and physical edge. I also like how Sizemore can read the opposition and maneuver the pocket with ease.
