Dunnellon Ready For Next Step

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When head coach <strong>Tommy Sutton</strong> and his Dunnellon Tigers dropped a 35-0 decision to state champion Cocoa on the road, the ride back home was one of looking ahead to the off-season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2023 campaign was one that was certainly filled with plenty of excitement during the 8-4 year, but it was also one that saw the program fall short of the goals they set at the start of the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Losing to 1R power Williston was one of those nights, but those close losses to playoff programs Bushnell South Sumter (13-12) and Ocala Vanguard (28-21) that had this program believing that things are not that far away from getting to that next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With plenty of talent coming back in every class, this off-season is so important in many ways as the returnees feel optimistic about 2024.</p> <!--
