The two programs that have the best chance at over throwing Lincoln are Bayonne and Orange, both which are returning a ton of talent in 2024.
A big time hitter lining up at the linebacker position for Orange, Shamar Myers Shamar Myers 5’9″ | 210 lbs | LB Orange | 2025 State NJ exploded onto the scene in 2023 as he racked up 70 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, a sack and an interception. Delivering punishing hits to pass catchers and runners, opponents instantly regretted crossing the middle of the field when Shamar was there. Equipped with quick lateral movement, Shamar is able to cover a ton of ground, pushing the runner to boundaries or meeting them in the hole to drive them back for negative yardage. Keep a close eye on what Shamar is able to accomplish in 2024.
Deon McKinnon Deon McKinnon 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR Bayonne | 2026 NJ

A dominant defender in the secondary for Bayonne, Deon McKinnon Deon McKinnon 6’0″ | 165 lbs | WR Bayonne | 2026 NJ was all over the field last season. Making 48 tackles and 3 interceptions in 2023, Deon lined up high at the safety position as he did a great job keeping the play in front of him. It is dangerous any time the QB is tempted to throw it towards the middle of the field. Deon will be sitting there ready to snag it out of the air. And with his head on a constant swivel, Deon is able to see the play develop and break on the route to deflect the pass.
Great size for a young gun slinger, 2026 QB Nico Sampson Nico Sampson 6’2″ | 175 lbs | QB Bayonne | 2026 NJ is in a position to elevate Bayonne to the next level. With the ability to shift around in the pocket, Nico is able to give himself more time to make a play and let his guys get open downfield. With a strong arm on the run, defenses need to be careful anytime he gets outside of the pocket. He puts a ton of zip on the ball and can get it where it needs to be extremely quickly.
On the receiving end of Nico’s throws is 2026 WR Isaiah Ross Isaiah Ross 6’0″ | 170 lbs | WR Bayonne | 2026 NJ . Isaiah may have the most potential within the division. An absolute burner off of the line, Isaiah is able to dart by the corner as he catches it over the shoulder deep downfield. I foresee Isaiah being a big challenge for any defense trying to cover him one on one. Catching 3 touchdowns in 2023, I would not be the least bit surprised if that number doubled next fall.
