Surprisingly unranked in New York State, Sweet Home’s Steven Butler Steven Butler 5’11” | 165 lbs | WR Sweet Home | 2024 NY had a fantastic breakout senior season making 43 receptions for 749 yards and 11 touchdowns. Averaging 17.4 yards per catch, Butler’s ability in the open field after the catch is unparalleled. His less than 4 to 1 catch to touchdown ratio proved he is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. He has a great vertical jump and catches the ball at its highest point. Steven can run every route with precision and has solid hands. Making 2nd team all Western New York and getting Honorable Mention on the All State team has given him some attention from recruiters but still uncommitted. Whichever college lands him will be getting a special athlete.
In 2023, in his 2nd year on varsity, Maryvale Defensive End Keenan Banks Keenan Banks 6’3″ | 220 lbs | DL Maryvale | 2024 State NY made the All Western New York 1st team and gained honorable mention from the All State team. He has improved each year he has played, leading the team in sacks as a senior with 8. But on top of his normal duties as a pass rusher, Banks proved to be a playmaker, seemingly always around the ball. He has a great first step and is quick off the ball. Keenan attacks with aggression and plays smart. Rarely does he over pursue. He has superb football instincts and can play the run just as well as he rushes the Quarterback. A good height at 6’3, Banks will need to bulk up but he has the heart and determination to excel at the next level.
Highlights
Matteo Molinaro
Matteo Molinaro
The kicking game is an often forgotten aspect at the High School level. But it is a needed asset in college. Enter Matteo Molinaro, whose only season playing football saw him successfully kick 14 extra points and make 75% of his field goals, with his longest coming from 43 yards out. Prior to and while playing football, Molinaro was a standout soccer player, winning back to back Monsignor Martin Championships in 2022 and 2023. Matteo was also named All Catholic A Division Player of the Year and was named to the All State team for Large Schools.
After making 1st team All State nd 2nd team All Western New York as a senior, it is surprising to see QB Nate Snow Nate Snow QB Newfane | 2024 NY still on the market. He was a dominate force on offence, accounting for 2,665 yards and 31 touchdowns for the panthers, while throwing just 3 interceptions. He shows fantastic composure and can lead an offense about as good as any QB in the area. He put his mobility on display as well, running for 640 yards and 10 TDs. He has great deep ball strength with pinpoint accuracy. Nate Snow Nate Snow QB Newfane | 2024 NY also shined as a part time defensive back, with 65 tackles and 5 interceptions in 3 seasons. Nate Snow Nate Snow QB Newfane | 2024 NY should get some hard looks from many colleges as the talent is there.
A crisp route runner with speed to match, Zion Lee Zion Lee 6’0″ | 165 lbs | ATH Sweet Home | 2024 State NY is a tough, go across the middle type of receiver. He has a great vertical leap that allows him to catch the ball at its highest point. Poised to have a great senior season, an injury forced Lee to miss the final 6 games of the 2023 campaign. But in the the three games he played, he brought in 15 catches for 195 yards. A true “X” Wide Receiver that can run all the routes, Zion Lee Zion Lee 6’0″ | 165 lbs | ATH Sweet Home | 2024 State NY is healthy now and ready to take his talent to the next level.
Running Back Amerion Holt Amerion Holt 6’0″ | 205 lbs | RB Kenmore West | 2024 State NY was the bright spot on a struggling Kenmore West offense. Holt possesses all the characteristics you look for in a premier back: Size, speed, agility and incredible vision. He averaged 6.9 yards per carry as a senior. An explosive runner through the hole, Amerion is also an exceptional receiver out of the backfield. Such a versatile athlete, Amerion Holt Amerion Holt 6’0″ | 205 lbs | RB Kenmore West | 2024 State NY can line up in the slot and run the route tree as good as any receiver. This is a special player that was the product of a team that had trouble moving the ball and should get the chance to showcase his talent at the next level.
A big, physical, tough as nails lineman, Bradley Schneider Bradley Schneider 6’2″ | 290 lbs | OL Williamsville North | 2024 State NY anchored the Williamsville North Offensive Line with precision. He is aggressive and plays with a volatile mean streak. Bradley also has a high football IQ, needed to play the center position. He calls out the blitzers and helps his Offensive Guards with double teams. Schneider is always blocking to the whistle, reaching the second level. At 6’2 around 300 lbs, Bradley Schneider Bradley Schneider 6’2″ | 290 lbs | OL Williamsville North | 2024 State NY is a player to look for and plays what I feel is the most important position on the offensive line.

Ethan Metro Ethan Metro 6’1″ | 195 lbs | DL St. Francis | 2024 State NY could be pegged as an overachiever but I love the way he plays the game. He is fierce and gives his all on every play. As a DE, he understands the concept of contain and can stop the run better than most Ends, whom are known as pass rushers. Measured too light to be a Defensive End; with his aggression and tenacity, I would really like to see Ethan Metro Ethan Metro 6’1″ | 195 lbs | DL St. Francis | 2024 State NY convert to a Linebacker/Safety hybrid. He would be a Special Teams Ace for sure.
