Top Names

[player_tooltip player_id='336588' first='Cruz' last='Williams'] - A knee injury kept Williams sidelined all of the 2023 season, but he's set to be back healthy as a Senior. He's incredibly talented, has always been productive, and has D1 eyes all over him. If he gets back on the field and to his normal level, it'll be clear why he's remained at #1 all this time.

[player_tooltip player_id='321386' first='Fred' last='Brown'] - One of the fastest-rising recruits in the country, the now 3-star LB has the eyes of the country on him now. With elite size, production, and athletic ability he's all over the field. He's hard-hitting and has a nose for the ball like you haven't seen in some time. He's hungry and it's all over his tape. I'm a big fan of Brown and hope the rest of the country gets to see what I see.

[player_tooltip player_id='321376' first='Sam' last='Neu'] - Neu is a versatile player who can and does play LB, but also rushes the passer quite a bit. He's big and lean with a high motor and closing speed. He trusts what he sees and isn't going to overthink on the field. He's strong and can lay out a big hit when and where needed. The size and ability to bend make him an intriguing hybrid prospect with a very high ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id='272857' first='Noah' last='Knigga'] - The Lawrenceburg product who recently went viral just for his name, can play too. I feel like people forgot that throughout all of that Twitter fun. Knigga is a big, strong, Ox of a LB who loves to make big plays and hits. He can run down just about anyone and consistently takes good angles towards the ball. Someone will get a good player in Knigga who can take just about anything thrown his way.

[player_tooltip player_id='553140' first='Gavin' last='Leach'] - Over the past few years, no LB in the state has developed more than Leach. Physically, on the field, and mentally with reps. He's grown at least 4 inches and put on over 40lbs since I first covered him. All good weight of course, but it's changed who he is completely. He's a violent and strong LB who can rip the ball out. He's willing to lay it all out on the line and has earned his 3 stars through grit and hard work.

Don't Sleep On

[player_tooltip player_id='553142' first='Alex' last='Broshears'] - One of the most productive LBs in the southern part of the state, Broshears checks quite a few boxes. I've seen him work in person as well and he moves just as well as you'd hope. He's got smooth footwork and can flip his hips and run with ease. He can also drop back and be a DB-like player, but he's best near the LOS because of his ability to track the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='553026' first='Cion' last='Waters'] - The North Central prospect just put together his best season yet and it was a promising one. Waters is an explosive athlete who can create pressure and manhandle some players at the line. He's got a mean streak to him as well and when he gets fired up you can see it on the field. He's someone who helps energize his team and can get them out of a slump. Every team needs their Energizer Bunny, and that's a perfect way to explain Waters.

[player_tooltip player_id='1032218' first='Jaxon' last='Keller'] - Keller is a freakish athlete for his size who is incredibly productive, yet still learning the position and everything it entails. They ask him to do quite a bit because he can come through for them. His range is fantastic and he takes as long of strides as anyone in the class. His ability to fight through contact and make tackles even when being held is top-notch. I love what Keller brings to the field and the potential versatility he can create.
