Sasha Summers
Sasha Summers, at 6’5″, is a mismatch for cornerbacks who have to cover him. Summers excels in 50/50 ball situations, where he can go up and snatch it out of the air. He has one of the largest catch radii I’ve seen from a wide receiver on film. Even at his size, he still has the ability to run and stretch the field. Summers’s rare size should draw significant interest from college coaches.
Trey Peters Trey Peters 6’4″ | 200 lbs | WR Mahomet-Seymour | 2025 IL was dominant as a junior for Mahomet-Seymour in 2023. Peters is often game-planned to be the single wide receiver on the backside of the trips formation. This allows him to isolate the boundary cornerback and utilize his size, creating a mismatch situation. Peters is becoming a more polished route runner as a wide receiver, making him even more of a weapon as an X receiver.
Stevan Gavric
Stevan Gavric
Stevan Gavric’s height at 6’4″ got him on this list, but his speed is what you’ll notice on film. Gavric has the ability to run by defensive backs and take the top off the defense. As a junior, he accounted for 8 touchdowns on a loaded Libertyville offense. I expect Gavric to play an even bigger role within the offense as a senior.
Hunter Glasgow Hunter Glasgow 6’4″ | 190 lbs | WR Deerfield | 2025 IL ‘s skill set makes him the perfect X wide receiver. Another guy on this list who can go up and get 50/50 balls over defensive backs. Glasgow does a good job creating separation with his route-running ability. He accounted for almost 500 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns as a junior. Glasgow should be a recruit coaches keep an eye on during camp season this summer.
